Well, I could hear the PA quite clearly on talkSPORT tonight.
Really enjoyed listening to Nigel and Micky on the commentary tonight (by the way, a big thank you to the bright spark at BBCi who thought relaying in-progress highlights rather than offering an alternative commentary on 301 while Steve Wilson and Mark Bright were on BBC1 duty was a good idea

), it was yet another good example of Nige being able to work well with whichever co-commentator you put him with.
I don't think Nigel and Micky have ever been paired together on the station before, yet they quickly hit it off.
So far in this tournament, Nigel's done three different commentaries with three different co-commentators, which show you that management are clearly comfortable with matching him with whoever as he seems to get along with just about everyone.
I liked it when, just before the penalty was taken, Quinny issued a few words in support of Blanco, only for Nige to retort "totally unbiased, non-partisan commentary here on talkSPORT".
