Primus Good or Bad
I've had enough of BT now and am going to change to either the PO or Primus.
Primus seems good for value but I hadn't heard of them until today. I only need line rental for my broadband which is supplied by Orange, i do not make any out going calls. So with that in mind will Primus be suitable for me, does anyone on here use Primus for their line rental and how has it been. |

I've been with Primus for a couple of months and haven't personally had any problems. Like you, I only use my landline for the broadband (plus sometimes international calls) so wanted to switch to something cheaper which Primus definitely is for both.
Their website for account management is a bit basic but it does the job and I found it easier to view my bills on that than on BT's. I've also read a few horror stories about their customer services but I've never had to call them about anything so far. They responded to an email query of mine quite quickly. |

Family and friends have been using them no issues for several years, often mentioned on MSE.

I signed up over a month ago they were very quick to set up a direct debit and an e billing account but have made no contact in over 4 weeks so I'm unsure if the switch is taking place or not.
