I can password it up to stop anyone accessing most of it, but for the life of me cant figure out how to 'lock' the keypad... This is the only phone i have ever had a prob with, anyone can access my text msgs and phone book.. I have been onto the samsung site I have read the manual, nothing

I doubt that you can lock the keypad, what would be the point? The idea of locking the keypad is to stop youpressing buttons and calling someone when it is in your pocket, but this is not needed when you have a flip phone

I dont want the kids messing with my phone... at the moment i have to tie it to me backside to keep them away from it... I had a wee panasonic a while ago and you could lock the keypad by pressing the red dial and punching in your code.. I sold it on thinking the samsung was better

You do have an 8 digit phone lock that is need everytime you switch your phone on. That way if your pohone is switched off and someone nicks it then they need an 8 digit code to switch it on.

Whilst on the subject, does anyone know if it is possible to disable the buttons on the side of the phone?
My girlfriend has one and if the button is held in, I understand it takes a quick photo. Thing is, she has lots of quick photos of the inside of her bag! |
