"morals like alleycats" as my Mum puts it? I'm not specifically talking about Mr Leslie Grantham here, but another Eastenders actor, Shane Ritchie, who says that the cast have forgiven Mr Grantham and now "have a laugh" about the newspaper stories! Mr Ritchie should be advised that the victim of Mr Grantham's vile and disgusting internet abuse can't laugh about it, either now or in the future!

I would image Shane Ritchie was under order to say that all was fine on the EE set, he's hardly likely to admit there's a major problem in the middle of an interview with LK After all that's been in the papers about Grantham and various other members of the cast I would image TPTB are trying to keep up a lid on things at the moment, the programme could do without any more bad publicity for a while.

As to the 'victim' of Leslie Grantham - I'm not entirely sure who you mean? The woman who engaged in an ongoing online relationship with him for a substantial period of time (apparently didn't know how to shut down her computer), kept copies of everything he sent her and then happily sold it to a newspaper? I would image she's been laughing all the way to the bank. Sorry, but that's certainly not my description of a 'victim'. I in no way condone Mr Grantham's behaviour, he's a married man, the only thing he's been guilty of is gross stupidity. The closest thing to a victim in this whole grubby affair is his wife.

Agent Krycek, I couldnt agree more.

Hasn't everyone slagged off a collegue before? Shane Ritchie should realize that it was probably only Leslie G's words to make himself look good. I think some of the cast are in need to get over what he said.

Shane Ritchie isn't a victim, Leslie's wife is.

But what's the alternative Christygreer? Everyone to ostracise him for ever? In any workplace there's probably people you don't like, people who do things you don't approve of, people you wouldn't normally choose to associate with. But for the sake of office harmony you have to do your best to get along with them, otherwise going to work's a very unpleasant experience for everybody.

Totally agree with you there. Someone who's conducted that kind of long term webcam contact and is over the age of consent shouldn't be so shocked that a middle aged man with the soap name of Dirty Den might get grubby !!
