Yes true ... but I'd rather they spent their time enabling network transfer of recordings.

That would be nice but I thought Bob_Cat had already said they had tried this in house but discovered the HDR just hadn't got powerful enough hardware.

I'd be happy with just the power cut bug fixed.

Re FTP and streaming he indicated they had issues with some of the things they were trying to do and although these issues could be overcome, more processor power would be the easy way to fix. Enabling FTP (or Samba fileshare) is well within the realms of possibility, streaming off from the HDR to other devices is a different question altogether and I would be more accepting that they need more power to do that !
