Recently, I've been keeping score of each DW episode as I've seen it, and I thought it would be a good idea for us all to do the same. This way, everybody can share their thoughts about the series so far, with reference to individual episodes and their own personal scoring

Post your scores for each episode below. scores must be out of 10 (/10)

My Scoresheet (so far)

The Eleventh Hour 8/10
The Beast Below 7/10
Victory of the Daleks 8/10
The Time of Angels 8/10

NB - My score for TToA will probably change. I have just seen it on iplayer, and thought that certain parts felt rushed, but it was otherwise a good episode

I'd rate the following

The Eleventh Hour 7/10 - New Dr - needed to sttle in.
The Beast Below 4/10 - Great start, but a whale?
Victory of the Daleks 5/10 - Sub Independence Day - C'mon Spitfires attacking the Daleks!
The Time of Angels 9/10 - That's more like it

Victory Of The Daleks - 8.5/10
The Time Of Angels - 9/10

Well my scores would be -

TEH 9/10
TBB 7/10
VOTD 6/10
TTOA 9/10

Would also say that both TEH and TTOA probably right up there in my all time top ten favourites as well. Thought VOTD was really poor at the end though.

Sorry this looks boring, but apart from one or two small things, I really love it so far:

The Eleventh Hour 9/10 - absolutely loved it
The Beast Below 9/10 - gets better and better every time I watch it
Victory of the Daleks 8/10 - good old romp, but didn't like the Paisly emotional time bomb thing at the end, and Amy started to annoy me a bit.
The Time of Angels 9.5/10 - absolutely loved it.

Careful! Victory of the Daleks = VOTD = Voyage of the Damned.

For me it's exactly the same as yorkie100, 9, 7, 6, 9 with the caveat that The Time of Angels may be dragged down in the long run if the second part disappoints. Though I've no reason to suspect that it will.

Not at all! It's actually good to see a fan who isn't as picky as the rest of us! In fact, all the more fun for you

The Eleventh Hour: 7/10
The Beast Below: 6/10
Victory of the Daleks: 5/10
The Time of the Angels: 9/10

Victory of the Daleks would have been so much better as a two-parter. At barely 45 minutes, and despite a lot of promising material, it came across as hurried and slapdash and didn't quite deliver on the promise.

I've consciously adjusted my scores so that 10 = the best Doctor Who Story, 0 = the worst Doctor Who story. If we're rating these against the rest of the garbage they put on television then I also will be giving pretty much every episode since 2005 at least an 8.

I'm quite picky as well, and I love discussing it, but it hardly ever keeps me from enjoying the episode (if that makes sense). Actually, last Saturday's episode went by so quickly didn't it (good indication for me how much I enjoyed it).

I probably should have done the same. However, if there is one that is absolutely mindblowing and fabfantastic, I will give it a 12.

The Eleventh Hour - 8.5 out of 10

The Beast Below - 7 out of 10

Victory of the Daleks - 7.5 out of 10

The Time of Angels - 8.5 out of 10

The Eleventh Hour was my favourite opening episode of all (since 2005), although I have a fond spot for Partners in Crime which comes up a little behind. The Beast Below was a brilliant concept that was a little flawed by the 45 minute running time and a slight lack of focus- too many ideas whirling at once. The sets were also slightly dull, if I was going to be getting picky. Victory of the Daleks has taken a lot of slack but I was more than satisfied. I wasn't expecting 'the best Dalek story ever', and was happy that Gatiss managed to cram in daleks, churchill and the WW2 subplots too. Some great action scenes as well, and I think it is too soon to judge whether or not we like the new daleks when we haven't seen much of them. The Time of Angels was an excellent and tense piece of drama, that looks set to up the ante for next weeks story. My score may change depending on the quality of Flesh and Stone but I was most impressed with the episode and am a fan of both the angels and River Song (I think she is an awesome character!). Despite being the first episode filmed, I found Matt Smiths appearance here to be his best yet broadcast.

Have enjoyed this series a lot so far, and although I could be a bit more picky, I don't think I need to. It is miles better than the reality tripe that lost all its appeal 5 years ago and it is miles better than some of the not-so-good episodes of the RTD era- and before anyone asks, I thought RTD did a very good job (Love and Monsters, The Next Doctor and The End of Time: Part 1 aside)

The Eleventh Hour 9/10 (best opening episode)
The Beast Below 7/10 (great, great idea, moral dilemma)
Victory of the Daleks 5/10 (because of the setting, not the new Daleks)
Time of Angels 10/10 (seriously, I loved this episode and have not rewatched any other Doctor Who episode more)

The Eleventh Hour 8/10 - best opening episode
The Beast Below 7/10
Victory of the Daleks 5/10 - Great first 10 minutes then down hill all the way to the playmobile Daleks.
Time of Angels 8/10 - Good set up for the next episode, lots of tension. Was over very quick. Thats the sign of a good episode.

I really liked the Beast Below, don't get why so many people were against it. Interesting plot and great way to get the Doctor and Amy to trust each other. The Eleventh Hour was the best opener I've ever seen and the best introduction to a companion that I've ever seen. Loving Moffat being in charge!

Yeah, and I so wish I wasn't. Even watched them a second time and was even less impressed.

I'm genuinely bemused what people are liking. I had high hopes of this season but I'm very disappointed.
