Anyone used Unbeatable.co.uk?
Hi
Thinking about buying a new TV from Unbeatable.co.uk... Anyone used them before? Any good? What was the delivery time/service like? Would normally buy from a well known highstreet name such as John Lewis but they don't stock the set I'm fancying. Cheers in advance. P9 |

I've used unbeatable several times.
I understand why your nervous about making a big purchase from an online retailer you've never used before, i baught a few smaller items before i baught my panasonic 37 inch plasma. service was great. Remember to take account of delivery costs. |

Cheers for that Flagpole.
It's the Sony KD28DX200TV I'm looking at. Unbeatable want a massive £28 for delivery but added to the price of the TV, it still comes in at less than most other dealers. |

I bought a smaller item from unbeatable recently, -a Sony DVD recorder RDR-GX3.
As the price was approx 100 quid less than the Sonyshop price I was originally worried that it might be a return or repaired model. But it was brand new and unused and has been OK I would be happy to order from them again. Alan |

The KD28DX200 is £724.99 at http://www.discountaudiovision.co.uk...de_Screen.html and I don't believe they charge for delivery (haven't fully checked though).

I ordered a Marantz amp from there last year, after 2 weeks of waiting they told me they were out of stock, so I ended up ordering elsewhere.

Thanks for that link, pmcmillan, similar question though. Have you used discountaudiovision.co.uk?
Again, it's a site I've never heard of and as it's a fair bit of money I'm playing with, I'm a little cautious... Ta again. P9 |

Have ordered several smaller items from them e.g. a Panasonic dect phone at £60 off the nearest price, a Samsung DVD player, can't remember the cost but was cheapest I could find it at. They are just the online bit of the retailler Capital Sound and Vision Near Gatwick which a mate reccomended. If it says "In stock" it can be with you next day, the dect phones were, I only order from stock they have to avoid a delay.

[Deep breath] Done it, TV is ordered...
Last night, walking round the local Comet and Currys selling out-dated models for a higher price made my mind up for me... |

Sure I won't Flagpole, it's just the initial shelling out of the pennys that I don't like...
Once the huge box with the shiney new toy inside arrives, I'll be like a big kid. Talking of which, just had a call from a very nice lady to tell me it'll be with me monday [bonus!] |

Wouldn't know mate, was just about to set off for work when it arrived.
So there is a HUGE box with Sony Wega written across it sitting in my lounge...might be an early finish today!! I signed for it 'unchecked' upon the Unbeatable Doris's advice... |

Techno joy is a wonderful thing.
![]() Obviously it's purchased now... but I have to weigh in and say Unbeatable were good for me. Considerably cheaper for the sound system I bought. The credit company they use was really crap, but Unbeatable waded in and helped me out with that too. I'm ordering a new laptop. Techno joy for me too soon! |
