Don't mention panopticons, i'll start babbling about Foucalt.

Although a panopticon is a prison. Hmmmm.

Ties into the cameraphones and giant eyes in the sky, though!

I'm not sure about greek lettering, I personally took the myth plus greek lettering as a further pointer to the significance of greek mythology.

3. When Pandoras box (jar to use the proper translation) it lets out evil but traps hope. Many scholars talk of the imprisonment of hope in the box. I'd speculate that either river or amy will play the pandora role (my money is on river) while the other (most likely amy) is hope. Perhaps amy is infact prisoner zero but in the inprisonment of hope sense, perhaps it is even the dr who is the "hope" that will be imprisoned.
Well considered neel.
Just a few quick points that might help your train of thought.

One of Moffat's previous stories The Empty Child, is very close to the Pandora story. Parallels with previous stories were cropping up all the time in TEH.

It's been noticed Amy has been associated with keys, locks and letting things out in each episode. In a way the Doc released hope from a black box at the start of Ep. 4 ; River and her hope of rescue.

You'll be aware of the significance of 'Amelia' or should that be Melia ...and Pond...Ond. Review the visuals of Amy's first scenes in the Tardis in both TEH and TBB, and the VOTD Dorabella speech. and what's the first thing we see in ep4.

I don't think the 'myth machine' is associated with the Pandorica. The Psi stands for Psionic. There's a patented 'black box' that does powerful things with words, a word lathe you might say. It's initials are The Psi. H.M.

Happy Googling.

Congrats - probably the most tenuous connection yet! (River didn't 'hope' for rescue - she planned it down to the detail.)

Speaking of tenuous connections, The Pandora's box story has a lot in common with the Adam and Eve story (woman does silly thing which damms mankind for all eternity etc), an apple was very significant in the first episode.

I'm clutching at straws

Regarding the, more or less, Omega-sign.

It is also to be seen on the soldiers / clerics material suitcase the Doctor and Amy are looking in and which is also SONICED by the Doctor.

It would be a hell of joke if it is what's already been said here,
in the end this will spell:
Spoiler
