4) An old enemy awaits in Episode 10.

5) The last four episodes are all linked.

Excerpt from Episode 9: Hollow

They stepped forward into an occupied hospital ward. The lights flickered, despite the advances in technology that had so obviously been made. A series of beds lay before them, each occupied by a patient. Each patient was illuminated by what little light streamed in through the window at the end.

“Feel free to examine them,” Anna offered, offering a scalpel from her pocket.

Walking over to the nearest one, the Doctor couldn’t help but notice the state of the patient’s leg. It was broken in several places. The young man before him was clearly awake: his eyes were wide open, but seemed to focus on a space beyond the Doctor’s capability of seeing. Curiously, the Doctor poked the leg in the area he knew to be broken.

No response.

“Strange. That must hurt yeah? Anna, tell me this guy isn’t drugged or something. I’m poking him, and it’s like he can’t feel anything,”

“And that’s the.........................

Are you sure that last bit isn't from House?

No, it's from The Empty Child.

Is there going to be an arc?

Yeah that last bit was inspired by Empty Child, just a tad darker =)

And there will be a series arc which is developed right from the off. This arc will be revealed in Ep11: Chasing Shadows, before the finale.

Synopsis: The Doctor crash lands in New York in 2512, drawn by an unnatural power surge. But New York is a riddled place. The mystery of the Empty Patients awaits the companions, as well as the face from the Doctor's future. Can the Doctor save the world from the Drakus? Or is it only just the beginning of the end of the human race. Part 1 of 2

Synopsis Episode 1:
Abby spends her life like any other 19th century girl, until mysterious disappearences start happening. 8 days later she is attacked by a mechanical spider and saved by the fumbling genius known only as the Doctor. What do these spiders want? Who or what is the Clockwork Titan? And what is its sinister scheme. Oh, and keep an eye on the clocks. Not every clock. But any clock.

wow you guys are well into your fanfic...seems you're steaming ahead with it which is good to see. Nice to have some updates. Will watch for updates etc.
