I'm thrilled by this. I will admit when I first watched Midnight it passed me by. For various reasons I've watched it several times recently and have grown to love it.

A well deserving winner, looking forward to the next survivor.

The video was beautiful, thank you Muttley.

Forgot to add...a worthy runner up. Probably the best two acting performances by David Tennant in the show in the final two episodes here, perhaps only matched by The Waters of Mars.

I guess a lot of people just happen to disagree with you on this one though....Midnight won fair and square, nothing ludicrous about it. People have different views and opinions on episodes, in this case they don't tally up to yours. Theres always the chance to join in next time around though, and to have your say.....

Midnight is the official winner!!!! Never have I stopped loving this story...and don't think I ever could....its so great to see it win!!!!! Just darn fantastic in everyway!!!!

And it won against another worthy story......so that is double victory! And Muttley fantastic video....loved it that you ended it with the hug!

Even though I didn't vote for it to win I am happy with the result. I loved the top five episodes and would have been happy if any of them had won. It was so hard to choose in the final few rounds as they really are all fantastic episodes. I'm too tired to watch the video now but I am sure that it is as brilliant as always and I have bookmarked it to watch when I am more awake.

Sadly I won't be able to take part in the next survivor as I've still only seen a couple of episodes of Classic Who but I hope you all have fun playing it.

Finally, and most importantly I would like to say a huge thank you to RK for running this game. It must take a lot of effort and I do appreciate it.

Yes I agree it was a good final five, maybe not exactly the five i would have chosen (I think I would have had to have put Utopia in there over Human Nature), but all excellent episodes.

Funnily enough I remembering voting for The Family of Blood to win last year, but of course it was up against Blink in the final then...

I definitely will this looked like fun.

I must say that watching your video yet again brings home what an epic and brilliant achivement those five years were from RTD and company.

I've been so swept up with absolutely loving the new series and Mr Smith that I hadn't given a second thought to the past nor missed it (despite loving it also) but watching that...all the memories were flooding back. So while I shall continue to be engrossed in the new era, and would also be as bold as to say Matt is already my favourite doctor since 2005, I say lest we forget who we have to thank for where we are now!

I couldn't get involved as much with this vote as I have with others but I'm so glad that Midnight won.

I voted for Family of Blood last time but that was because Midnight wasn't there to vote for.

Good result. As others have said, even though I didn't vote for it, it is a deserved winner. I am just happy we managed to get Turn Left higher this year than last.

Been a good game. Will be sitting the next one out as if memory serves me correctly it is the turn for a Classic Who game and my knowledge isn't quite up on that yet.

Marvellous. In my view easily the most scary episode of new who.

I am delighted that Midnight has won (although I have been very busy lately, so have hardly participated in this game).

Midnight is my very favourite episode of 21st century DW, and I have always cheered it on.

Despite voting for Family of Blood, I am extremely happy that Midnight won. Those are two very worthy and excellent episodes.

Yes, I agree as I voted for FoB too. It's nice to see the underdog win and I do think Midnight is such a beautifully executed idea. If they'd taken the "unseen enemy" approach to the Satan Pit I think it would have been much stronger.

I remember a couple of years ago there was a problem on DS with posts appearing in the thread in the wrong order ie the post that was called #1 was actually commenting on something in a post that was called #2... A definite case of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey

Although i voted FOB, i'm very happy for Midnight to have won! It really is such a fantastic episode and deserves the title as best "New Who" episode! So glad to see that so many people loved the episode
