Has anyone else heard this? It was on Virgin news on the way home.

Not another one with all the axing and quitting, they won't have any cast left

I reckon they will pair up Tracy and Steve - and I think Steve will be more demanding than he is with Karen. I think it might make a good storyline.

I could not believe it when I read about this, particularly after her speech at the British Soap Awards.

I think your link goes to the incorrect place, it links back to the soaps forum.

When she won the best actress award she spoke about how she loved playing Karen McDonald and working with Simon Gregson and from the tone of it you would have thought she was set for life. That was only broadcast last night, from a recording on Saturday evening.

Looks like she's someone else who's got ideas above her station. Stuff her, she's no loss, the ungrateful witch!

Och at least she will be leaving on a high when we really *will* miss her, rather than leaving when we had all been praying for months that she would go.

I WILL miss her - she's been a fabulous actress, and an amazing character for Corrie - best of luck, Suranne!

Just checked Celebdaq, my dividends have been paid, spent the lot on Suranne Jones while she's cheap-ish, if she's all over the papers tomorrow watch her shares rocket - He he he!

She was interviewed on the after show party coverage, and said that she had some brilliant storylines coming up in the next year and was really looking forward to getting stuck into them. She was either BSing or has changed her mind pretty quickly.

Good luck to her anyway, I'm sure she'll do well.

Saw a bit on Tv this morning about her. All a bit vague, rumours about her wanting more money, others about how now she is an award winner she feels its a good time to try other roles, they mentioned that she can sing.
As far as how she goes, they said she will not be killed off.
Suggestions that Steve ends up with Tracey. I hope he doesn't as he hates her. I think Karen will find out about the money he pays Tracey, and maybe she will 'think' Steve has been seeing Tracey even if he hasn't been.
Still, its a shame as they are great together, alwyas interesting to watch even if they are just in the pub buying a drink.

Has anyone ever said that about you, when you've wanted to change jobs?

Does anyone else think she looked a bit tubby in her dress at the Awards?

She isn't "stick thin" like the 'Hollyoaks' lot, but she is still very attractive, and I think she looked lovely at the Awards.

It's a shame there aren't a lot more women like her for kids to look up to in the public eye. It would prove to them that they don't have to starve themselves and end up with eating disorders in order to look "attractive".

I didn't say she wasn't still very attractive. I think it's presumtuous and "fattist" of you so suggest that a larger physique could be viewed as unattractive to me or anyone else.

I fancy the pants of her, but she is getting tubby. These two points are unrelated.

Sorry, but that's a bit of a silly thing to say. 'Tubby' doesn't suggest attractiveness. 'Tubby' definitely sounds like a criticism. I think you mean voluptuous, womanly, or curvy. Or even not mention it at all.

I love my job and am quite happy thank you. I'd love it even more if I got paid (I won't use the word 'earn') £80,000ish a year...
