It's not crazy. I love Stephanie and I want her to win but I do fear for her. I was worried during last weekends show so I voted a couple times for her and luckily, she was safe. I just don't know how long it'll last. The fact that the bottom 2 has been different each week is worrying too. I'd guess on Jessica and Jenny but Jessica has more support than I realized so I don't know.

Should be Jessica and Sophie in my opinion, but Jenny could easily fall into the bottom two.

If Stephanie is in the bottom two I really think ALW would save her against anyone so I am pretty sure she is going to make it, at least to the finals. I do feel she is ALW's first choice - although others on this forum think it is Danielle.

So.. my pick-em for Saturday:
Jessica and probably Sophie.

In retrospect it was a facile comment to make,giving a wrong impression,completely detracting from the point I was trying to make.I apologise to all Danielle fans.

If its any consolation,I feel embarassed having written it.

And anyway - the Emilie-faithful gushed enough for all us put together, and twice as much on Sundays!

I'm one of the ones that think it's Danielle. I think Stephanie is easily his second choice but if it came down to Danielle and Stephanie, I don't think Stephanie would be saved.

Whether ALW will save her or not though, I'd hate to see her in the bottom 2.

I find them both very irritating. I don't agree they are the best at all. The best VOICES, yes. But their acting skills are in serious doubt in my mind and I can't warm to either of them.

I think Danielle's his first choice, his perfect Dorothy. Stephanie is his safe pair of hands.

Despite the perceived wisdom, it does seem to me that a good voice is actually quite important in musical theatre. Which is why the arguments that Emilie was a good dancer missed the point (even 'twere it true) and the whole 'Danielle is such a subtle actress' a la Sheila Hancock (and jumped on by the DH appreciation society) is I think also missing the point. I'm not convinced that Danielle's acting is as great as suggested and I definitely don't think it will work on stage in a huge auditorium.

So I'll stick with singing ability - and in my view these two are indeed the best singers (by some way) and indeed have shown as much acting ability as anyone in the show (which is actually not too high a hurdle to meet )

There was "at times" too which suggests he doesn't want Jessica . I would go the other way and let the Palladium soundman turn the volume up. I think he was right for once in wanting someone different and he's settled back into wanting something nice.

Well I don't agree. Stephanie can't seem to act much at all and Lauren's acting isn't natural.

Best actors by a mile are Steph and Danielle (and they can both sing and dance!) so they're my choices.

I stand by wanting a Lauren/Stephanie sing off with either one going, not bothered.

Each to their own - but to clarify I had misread original post - I think Steph and Lauren are the best two singers. And I still don't think there's too much acting going on by anyone!

The double elimination sounds interesting...and also pretty scary!

I wouldn't even like to make a prediction as far as the bottom 2 goes; it's too hard to call until we've seen the performances I believe. Simply because the voting has clearly been so erratic thus far. Pretty mind-boggling.

Oh, and forgot to say, because it is so unpredictable, I think it's half frightening me into voting for the ones I like. Usually you can tell if they'll be safe or not in the earlier stages. Look forward to a big phone bill

Well, I think Andrew and the production team will be focused on throwing Jenny under the bus as far as possible as they want her out.

I haven't a clue. I would have said no, but they played it really cleverly last week and got rid of Emilie.

If Steph's in the bottom two with anyone but Jenny she's going home. But Steph seems to have a bit of a fan base now.

I'm worried about Danielle's votes. I suspect she didn't miss the bottom two by much last week.

Actually a Jessica vs Sophie bottom two would be the most interesting in terms of who Andrew would actually save.

As it's big band week I assume ALW will be working with the girls and he'll definately want to throw Jenny and Steph under a bus. In my attempt to stop that I hate to think what my phone bill will be. I hope Jessica is safe too.

Steph reminds me a bit of Jodie now. They will try and throw her under a bus but it doesn't work.

I want a Stephanie/Danielle bottom two just because I like them the least and I want to see if ALW actually explodes.

i would love to see them two in the bottom, not because i dislike them for any reason but just because i think it would blow the compitition wide open, cant see it though although the double elimination next week i'm sure will throw up some shockers.

OK, getting out of over-analyzing for a minute, here's my random "based on something totally irrelevant"prediction:

On American Idol this week, it came down to my second favorite contestant vs. another contestant I liked but didn't really mind if he left, with my second favorite going. So if that pattern follows on OTR, it will be Steph vs. Lauren, Sophie or Stephanie with Steph leaving.

Jenny and Sophie is the likelist I think. Jenny going.

I think perhaps Sophie and Jenny in the next bottom 2 ? Both keep really low profiles on the show so I'm surprised Jenny hasn't been in the S-O yet and Sophie's only been in it once.

Lauren is pretty good. I don't think she is really right for Dorithy, but a very good singer and actress. but yeh she might appear snooty to some, or too confident. She isn't the kind of person to whome teenagers can relate I don't think. They can relate to maybe, Sophie, Danielle, Jessica and Stephanie depending on what kind of person they are themselves. And then perhaps Steph.

i don't really think she has much of a chance of winning. But she might make the final. i wouldn't mind if she did. based on talent she deserves it.

I think she was top but they were throwing the fans a little so we vote again this week.
