Foxsat HDR Added/Moved channels
Hi. I'm sure there's already a thread for this but I've been unable to find it. My HDR this morning did a rescan stating that there was 1 new channel and 4 moved channels (I think).
Not so much interested in what the new channel is, but I was just wondering if anyone new if there was a menu option or something to check what the new/moved/removed channels are on the foxsat, without having to have memorised all channels & positions previously? I just find it a little strange that it doesn't (to my knowledge) report the actual channels that are involved when changes occur during a rescan. Any help or info gratefully received. Cheers |

At the top of the freesat forum there is a sticky thread for 'Freesat changelog'
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/f...play.php?f=142 but as you say there is no method of checking from the box itself. |

Er, did I actually say I looked for a relevant thread?!?
![]() Think I need a wee training session on searching threads! Thanks Gaseous for the speedy reply - and for confirming that the Foxsat doesn't provide this facility for us. cheers |

You sort of can see it but it's a bit pants and may only work for new channels (not sure if it works for changed channels).
When you get the notification to scan for new channels say no and then manually do a full scan. You will notice the channels names appearing on the screen in one colour and the new channels will be coloued differently. Trouble is it's a case of luck if you do see it as sometimes they scroll so quickly. Can't remember which way around the colours are but they are black and blue. Even though there is a scroll bar indicator in the channels found boxes, I don't think that you can subsequently scroll up when the scan is complete. Not sure why you have to scan at all to be honest. The Sky boxes handled this better as it was all automatic. |
