I have just watched this & even tho 1 dog gets hurt, the other one doesn't. It is still amazing to watch a animal have such courage.

Posted this already, but it's still brilliant. This is why dogs are awesome.

I afraid it didn't end very well.

The story reported in Daily Telegraph.

The dog run over died (at the scene I think) and the other dog ran off.

Amazing (emotional I must say). So sad the other dog couldn't be found and rehomed.

Call me heretic but I saw this ages ago when it came out and assumed the dog was only pulling it off the road as they are carrion animals and it was probably planning on taking it somewhere quiet - to eat. Funny how people project human sentiments onto animals. I blame Disney.

They like rooting in bins and would probably eat road kill if people didn't pull em away.... Foxes, coyotes, dingos as well as stray dog will eat any old rubbish they find lying around - they don;t all have tin-openers.

Weird. Every dog I've ever known would sooner roll in a carcass than eat it.
