uhmmm .. I think you'll find that's the entire cast ..I was referring to numbers where Khashogghi is featured as an actual solo vocalist .. he has no real recognised solo part in Bohemian Rhapsody .. If you've seen the show, it's the final number where everyone is on stage .. Khashogghi isn't a featured singer .. the song is sung mostly by the two leads Galileo and Scaramouche with the rest of the cast just backing

I was talking about numbers that actually featured Khashogghi as one of the solo/featured vocalist

The character is onstage when a number of the other songs are sung but he only really features vocally in the two I've mentioned

mind you, all of the times I've seen the show my eyes were firmly fixed on the gorgeous Tony Vincent or Mig Ayesa who were the actors playing the part of Galileo on the occasions I was there so when they were singing an Elephant in a tutu could have walked on stage and I wouldn't have noticed

Rhyd is on S4C as I type

The programme is live from The Market Hall in Brecon and Rhydian has already sung a lovely song called David of the White Rock accompanied by Catrin Finch, the Royal Harpist. I'm hoping for a further song towards the end of the programme.

I've got the official CD of the musical and Khashoggi name is clearly stated singing BR with Galileo, Killer Queen and Scaramouche.
So we should give him a credit to sing parts of the song if he's been mentioned on the official CD!

I am really impressed with Rhydian singing SSOR last night, he was fantastic, like he is born rock star, but at the same time he is amazing classical singer and fantastic crossover artist.
Rhydian is really the singing genius we have to admitt that!

I really like the variety of songs that Rhydian is singing at the moment.
I think the key is choosing those songs that suit his voice and that he is happy to sing - but happily Rhydian does not appear to feel limited by genre
I loved him singing SSOR and look forward to him in the role of Khashoggi in WWRY(if that is confirmed as his role) - but I also loved the songs he sang on S4C last night especially David of the White Rock, which I have never heard him sing before.

not sure what rock stars you've been listening to or seen performing, but I'm affraid I'd have to disagree with you there .. just because you sing a rock song doesn't make you a rock star ... vocally he's no rocker, plus he needs to sort out the dad dancing befoe he could ever be considered any type of rock star ... lol.. but just my opinion

and I've seen the show 3 times and Khashoggie doesn't have nuch of a solo input at all in the final number, he sings a couple of words as part of the ensemble .. the song is primarily a duet between the two leads (Galileo and Scaramouche)

When you record an album, if you have any input, no matter how small (either vocally or writing wise) you are credited .. ie an acquaintence of mine did backing vocals and provided the doo whaps and some backing vocals on Robbie Williams "You Know Me" single (not a major stand out contribution, but he's still credited on the record along with the other bv's who contributed)

you've missed my point totallly which was that I was listing the songs where the Khashoggi character had a significant vocal input .. which are his solo song (Seven Seas of Rhye) and his duet with Killer Queen (It's A Kind Of Magic)

Wikipedia gives a better idea of who are the main contributors in the songs in the actual musical

lhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Will_Rock_You_(musical)

Edit .. here's a not so clear recording of BoRhap at the end of the musical

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRboO...eature=related

Khashoggi's only solo contribution is singing/speaking the line "I see a little silhouette of a man" (which is why he'll be credited on the album) and that's the sum total of his solo contribution to the final number .. so not really what you could class as a major Khashoggi contribution ... Killer Queen gets 2 lines (hence her being credited seperately on the recording)

oh and just to say that Brian May and Roger Taylor don't appear regularly in the show .. they just turn up now and again if it's a special occasion/anniversary of the show (or if they happen to be around and feel like it .. unfortunately they were never on stage on any of the performances I saw )

anyhoooooooo .. I knew there was a reason I'd stopped posting here and I've just been reminded of it,so ........

thanks ... I've been better but hey ho

yes I saw you're video .. you did really well to get up and sing infront of people, that must take a lot of guts . but I presume that the more you do it the more your confidence builds so you should definitely keep it up .. especially if it's something you enjoy ....then that's a double bonus .. good luck with it Grim

Hey everyone,
Just popping by to say hi, its been a while, have been lurking over on the BB section but its all getting a bit heavy over there so thought I'd pop back over here for a bit of solice where people are saying nice things!
Wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has posted links to Rhydian's songs onto You Tube, I haven't had the chance to catch up yet, our broadband useage ran out a full 10 days early. I blame my 6 year old, he's been watching Big and Small (Cbeebies) continuously on a loop on the I Player, nothing at all to do with me watching Rhdian's vids, oh nooooo, it wasn't meeeee !!!!!!

Great news about We Will Rock You, fingers crossed it'll come to Bournemouth, might even beable to get my husband to come to this one as he's a Queen fan. (I'm on my own for WOTW )

Have a good week xx

From what I've seen, the part could've been written for Rhydian! He's already got the dancing down to a tee in The Seven Seas of Rhye plus he'll be at at home in the suit, no wig this time either!

Anyone watching the Tom Jones programme? When he first started he was a bit of a showman (like Rhyd?) and loved Rock n roll/blues.
