Its great to see/hear Rhyd playing in England, I wonder how feels, as a Welshman, about singing a patriotic "English" song?

Rhyd was fantastic last night. The showman was back

Pulp's Common People was a surprise and was fantastic. Rhyd really enjoyed himself singing it and the crowd (approximate 2000 peeps) was putty in his hands!

WWTLF was truly wonderful - every note hit perfectly.

As ever after the show Rhyd stayed and signed for fans and posed for photos. A really great evening - watch out for the YT vids.

Hi RATs

It was wonderful. When he first started Common People I was a bit "Ok..........." but it was beautifully sureal and he was enjoying it so much himself that it was all captivating!!

The Ms Sigon song was so powerful too. He nearly had me wanting to donate for those kids!

It was funny to see the mature gentlemen of the choir kinda trapped behind him with very unchoir things on the horizen.

Not a trace of classical Rhyd and any notion that that is (or ever was) his calling. I think we are absolutely in for great things from this young man

Lovely to meet up with the other RATs and also loved where we stayed. Very reasonable, lovely rooms garden and lounge to ourselves. All in all a great weekend.

The stage was very very dark for this song and then there was another mic switched on accidentally at the end which picked up a conversation backstage

So funny and entertaining. MP melting 'literally' in the dark as Rhyd tries to find his way to the stage, and Rhyd saying 'sing with me boys' to the choir (who had just sung a couple of songs) stranded on stage.

The vids are wonderful.

The Man hasn't put in a dud evening so far but last night was one of the standout shows for me. It was not just the quality of his voice and his stage presence but it was the fact that he was just letting rip and enjoying himself so much.

When he has fun so does his audience.

We have to learn that we can't right him off wrt any song. We had a taste of that with Go West when so many of us had reservations until he did it
I really hope we see and hear a lot more of Common People

I loved the fun and so did he. My stand alone fave has to be Who Wants To Live Forever though. I had given up hope that he would ever sing it live and he included the lyrics missing from his album version - what a daft decision by the producers!

That song is very difficult to sing and it was written for a tenor and Freddie at that. Rhydian hit all the notes and his top range was spot on. I was so impressed, just a sublime performance and worth the wait

rattie did such a great job with these vids especially with all the swooning!

Pic quality isn't great as the lighting was a complete nightmare and he kept zooming around and I wasn't concentrating on the lens

This is the Moment is absolutely fab - Tom was good singing this at his audition (even better than his first song), but Rhyd is a different class (Admittedly, its an unfair comparison, Rhyd is older and has lots of training).
That 14 second note at the end was stunning
