I'm sad that I've seen my last TWOTW
It is a very spectacular show
I always enjoy hearing Rhyd sing of course ( and he sings Parson Nathaniel very very well) but I have particularly enjoyed seeing Rhyd act. He totally commits to the role, and I am now looking forward to seeing him in WWRY.

With WWRY and a new album 2011 is going to be very exciting

TWOTW has been fantastic and I have gotten different things out of it each time I've seen it....and from different areas of the arenas, so a different perspective each time.
The O2 will be the first time in the tiered seating, so I'm looking forward to seeing it again and taking my daughter with me this time!

Of course the highlight for me is always 'Parson Nathanial' section....for obvious reasons.
As you say SC, seeing Rhyd in full flow as an actor as well as singer has been fabulous....he was good on the first night in Amsterdam but he and Liz have really grown into their roles and they seem to be developing all the time.
.....not to mention the Wig, which is becoming increasingly tormented to match the Parson's mood!

Oh my, got a last minute ticket and went to see Rhydian in Bournemouth last night. The show is totally awesome and Rhydian was brilliant, i had a stupid grin on my face all the way thru his section, good job it was dark, haha.Had a perfect view as well thanks to the short person in front. He looked so tortured on the screen than I just wanted to give him a hug, bless.
An I have to say, am really liking Rhydian with brown hair, wouldn't object if he decided to change from blond for a while.
You have to watch out for the flame throwing martian tho.

yayy - glad you had a great time Degsey. Rhydian's acting is a bit of a revelation, and I agree that he looks fabulous with longish brown hair - he has great bone structure

I agree with you, I also think that 20 years from now, Rhydian will still be a successful artist, I very much doubt many other contestants will be.

I sat last night in the O2 arena watching Rhydian sing in front of a sell out crowd. It went through my mind that at the same time this year's winner of the XF was being announced and I was listening to that mighty voice soaring through a huge auditorium. He sounded fabulous (could have done with more of it tho)

I felt really pleased that 3 years down the line, despite having not won, not having new material, not getting radio play, not getting decent promo, he is getting ready to release a third album, has both a recording career and an MT one, is getting his own Tv show and has done so well - evidence of his very obvious talent. Long may it continue.

Yes, I spend the majority of my time on The Apprentice Board, it's a bit safer there, my legendary Anti-Leon venom in the wake of the travesty that was him winning saw me get suspended a very many times. Not that I apologize for a single thing I said.

I've had nothing of note to say on the X Factor in the 3 years since Rhydian's involvement. With each year, the contestants get worse and Cowells repeated insistence that its 'better than ever' is embarrasing. The contestants are sub-par bar a select few, and the ones that are talented (Burke, Ferguson and Cardle since Rhyd) are half the performer Rhydian is on his worst day.

I havent gotten to the War of The World tour, but I did get to see Rhydian live in May 2008 in Hammersmith and it was truly a spectacle, an amazing evening and singing of the highest quality!

The fact that he has a third album out next year shows everybody what only the best Rhyd fans knew in the wake of his first audition, that he is the most talented young singer in the country. Not even many of the winners have seen a third album, certainly none of the runners-up. The proof is in the pudding!!!

I have enjoyed seeing Rhyd in TWOTW and am now anticipating WWRY in March - preceded by the new album of course

I saw WOTW at Sheffield and it was fabulous!!!
I was impressed with Rhyd's acting abilities and indeed the whole production.

Also had the pleasure (??!) of Silly Sue staying at my house!!

I take it you're referring to Rhyd's first solo tour, Sweet C? That was May 2009 and I was there too! Originally I was only intending on going to one gig (I originally wrote bug instead of gig!) but then Del badgered () me into another gig and then next thing you know the 2 were doubled in one weekend to 4 hence I got the chance to see Rhydian at London and Bournemouth too. May 2008 was Bolton - I was there!

Hey Del! I was well behaved though, wasn't I? You're lucky it's not this weekend instead as I feel I'm on better form at the moment; and I'd have been up for more fun and frivolity. I may have taken to a full-blown boogie in your living room so maybe you should feel relieved. The Sheffield weekend was brilliant and it was fab seeing you guys again.

I'm with you on XF, there are a lot of very weak contestants and the praise is handed out by the judges despite poor performances now. All a bit of a farce and like you say no one of Rhydian's calibre.

The tour gigs were a real treat I agree, he hopes to tour again late next year if the new album does well enough. He loves to sing live, in his element on that stage and it really shows. If you have Sky channels, it will be worth watching his TV series as well as he will be hosting and interviewing and singing - he really is the whole package. So at home in front of a camera.
