You're not going Sweet?
BTW, just listened to Michael Ball singing "Love Changes Everything" and I think if Rhyd sang that he would be fab, though Michael sounded like a tenor, not a baritone.

I'm with you on XF, there are a lot of very weak contestants and the praise is handed out by the judges despite poor performances now. All a bit of a farce and like you say no one of Rhydian's calibre.

The tour gigs were a real treat I agree, he hopes to tour again late next year if the new album does well enough. He loves to sing live, in his element on that stage and it really shows. If you have Sky channels, it will be worth watching his TV series as well as he will be hosting and interviewing and singing - he really is the whole package. So at home in front of a camera.

Feb for the next album Rhydler, so drop by again soon if you can ”

What channel is the show on then?? I'd definitely have a look, what's it all about.

Yeah, I meant 2009 at Hammersmith not 2008, but I did go to Lloyd-Webbers birthday gig in 2008 and Rhydian sang the Music of The Night and stole the show - easily. Whole place was in awe.

Feb for the next album and it will be mine. And do you know how many CD's I actually buy? Only his.

It's S4C which is Welsh Channel 4 and it is on channel 134 on Sky.
It's a chat show but he will host it, interview guests and sing as well. I think it was going to be called The Rhydian Show

He is planning on releasing a single first before the album and possibly more singles off the album. Can't wait!

I've just got back from Cardiff and recorded a fair bit of the War of the Worlds show - not just Rhyd.

There is about 45 minutes of footage here in all I have left the vid running at the end of some of it where I had time so you get some UUUULLLLLLAAAAAs and a bit of Jeff Wayne and the fabulous band/orchestra.

I want you fighting fit for when you see Rhydian live, Grim!

Tonight is the last night of The War of the Worlds tour and it's at Wembley Arena in London. I was listening to LBC earlier on this evening and a few callers rang in to say they were having difficulty getting there because of the weather conditions. Looks like they'll be empty seats where people have been unable to attend because of the snow.

Christmas concerts that Rhydian will be appearing at in the next few days follow:-

Sunday 19th December - Hayley Westenra's Christmas Wishes. Rhydian will be joining Hayley as a special guest at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham.

Wednesday 22nd December - Rhydian joins Hayley again at the Barbican Hall in London.

Thursday 23rd December - Xmas Spectacular - O2, London. Xmas spectacular featuring Rhydian and Ruthie Henshaw plus other guests.

A new blog by Rhyd

**
Rhydians Blog December 20th.

Dear all,

I'm writing to you as I travel by train ( delayed due to adverse weather..!) to Birmingham to perform with Hayley Westenra tonight at the symphony hall. I'm tired, exhausted but relieved that we got through 'the War of the Worlds in one piece.*

The journey from Brighton to Wembley was a mission. What should have been a two hour bus journey turned out to be a 7 hour 6 change train trip, lugging suitcases through the snow ridden pavements. But, we got there in the end and it seemed to go down well with the 9000 or so who had braved the conditions.
Thank you to all of you who came and supported the show I hope you enjoyed. There was a bit of an after show party where people said their good byes. Jeff presented me with the most amazing signed plaque to say thank you. It's massive! I really bonded with Jason and Justin Hayward during the past month. Two fantastic guys.*I have been invited to Monaco to see Justin and his wife Marie in the new year! Isn't that great. I'm so so blessed when I think of all the joy and good that's happening to*to me. I don't deserve any of it but I shall enjoy it while it lasts!!
I will touch base again for a Christmas post!
Loads of love*

Morning RATs

I just saw this on the Wall of a friend of a friend on Facebook
Quote:
“I was in Tesco this morning and a woman collapsed and died. I really felt sorry for her.... she`d just bought a "Bag for life"”

I'm guessing it isn't real

I enjoyed it a lot Rhydian was fab, I wish he sang OHN but the young man who sang it was also very good. Camp Showman Rhyd wore a sparkly suit singing Rockin Robin and Winter Wonderland
The lasers and fireworks at the end were spectacular.
Rhydian has an amazing voice live.
