I wonder if he will sing a new song or is just a repeat of The Prayer (again)?

Welcome back Grim....hope you had a good birthday!

It'll probably be The Prayer again but I live in hope that it's something different!

Well one things for sure ..... we'll all be sat in front of our tvs watching regardless

I see in my TV paper that ITV are repeating The Susan Boyle story after BGT tomorrow and Rhydian is down to be one of her guests. Strange to bill him as being on when we know that he won't be ...... unless ITV have changed it slightly and he will be on after all ( i know that's probably a stab in the dark but I am ever the optimist ) Ah well, will have to sit through it again just in case

That would be nice! I hope he sings it live but it may be the exact album track.
If Rhydian is on the SuBo show it will be good too.

I don't believe he is on SuBo's show grim - it is a repeat and he wasn't on the original show. I think the TV listing mags have just been lazy about not updating the programme description.

excellent
it just shows what a little TV exposure can do - most people don't know that Rhyd has released a second album!

Talking of TV exposure - Rhydian is on SoP this afternoon at 5.30 singing I'm Coming Home Again from album 1

I'll fire up the DVD recorder so that I can whizz through it to catch Rhyd.

Rhydian has just been on, he sang beautifully and looked like he really enjoyed it. There were some wonder close ups as well.

It was good to see him on TV again - nice introduction by Aled Jones telling the nation that Rhyd is a regular at the RAH

It looks to have been recorded at the same time as The Prayer was recorded last year. I wonder if they decided to use the film after THAT performance in THAT suit at the Classical Brits

Rhyd is miming (he was asked to I bet), its the exact album track as with The Prayer but nice to hear a different song.
IMO ICHA is a bit of a gem, one of the best songs on Album 1.

Hi grim
Yes-I saw Olivia sing What If on BGT last night - she did OK but the two best acts went through IMO.

Rhyd sings opera shock!

After being called an 'opera singer' since he appeared on XF without actually singing any opera on TV Rhyd gets to sing some opera this Sunday June 6th on the Shan Cothi show on C4Wales at 9pm - I am assured that a treat is in store

Jodie Prenger has tweeted that Rhydian will be going to see the press night of the touring production of Spamalot tonight.

Jodie is playing The Lady of the Lake - good to see Rhyd supporting her after she supported him at the Classical Brits

I love Spamalot - it is very funny and a great show

I really enjoyed Spamalot Sweet, it is really funny The songs are great and some remind me of other songs for some reason and you come out humming them
Olivia did OK but it wasnt as good as Rhyd (I'm biased) The key was too high for her IMO and she was out of tune at the start but she has a nice voice and she was really nice in defeat also.

The Chopping Wood song for No1
