Just heard on an advert - Rhydian would do a great version of Ordinary World (Duran Duran) IMO, and also Bring Me To Life (the song Jai just sang on BGT)

Has Rhydian been nosying on my iPod? I have 'The Promise' by When in Rome, 'Broken Land' by The Adventures, 'Hands to Heaven' by Breathe, I used to have the original 'No More I Love You's' by The Lover Speaks on CD, I also have 'Love is a Wonderful Colour' by The Icicle Works and 'The Promise You Made' by Cock Robin on my iPod. This is of course if those on the tracklisting are the same songs.

The 'You're a Big Girl Now' maybe the Black song. 'Tower of Strength' could be The Mission's song.

I'm not sure how I feel about Rhydian picking less well known tracks, in a way its good theyre not all predicatble covers but I dont know all those tracks

I'm pleased that they're not well-known tracks Grim, because there would have been the risk of them sounding to karaoke if they were too well-known, and also compared too much with the originals.

I am so excited about this album, I just hope it gets some airplay.

Change of subject but I'd love to see Rhydian on the judging panel of Popstar to Opera Star

I've been wishing the same since last year as well!
Rhydian is wonderful communicator, very knowledgeable about the classical music and he can be very charming and funny at the same time.
He would be wonderful judge

Change of subject again When Jai won BGT, I was reminded of Rhydian because he sang Anthem and To Where You Are, I think with the key Jai sang it in (a bit lower) that would suit Rhyd better these days (if he ever sings it again)
Jai is a very good singer, quite powerful.

You seem sad about Rhyd doing a Pop album Grim, he has said it will be a chance for the showman to reappear, I'm sure he'll make the songs he's picked sound epic

The guy singing 'Parade' in White & Torch sounds very much like Scott Walker. He has a very similar voice to him.
