Just about to post this link before seeing your post, Grim.

This performance is still one of my faves of his. Such an important performance which needed to be nailed and he nailed it head on.

Thanks Sue

Good luck to the young man on BGT but Rhyd's version is just sublime

BGT's Lady in red Janey Cutler certainly put her all into that performance of 'This is My Life'. Sure it wasn't perfect - but it was full of passion.

'This is My Life' was definitely one of my faves during Rhyd's tour. Especially in Bournemouth where he definitely gave it his all.

It made me think of Rhyd too - Janey certainly had passion I agree Sue.
Its interesting we've now heard at least 3 songs Rhydian has performed himself - first What If, then TID and now This is My Life.

In my next recital I'll be doing BOTW and Somewhere again (both sung by Rhydian on XF)

Jeff Wayne's interview about TWOTW on BBC Radio Manchester - starts 1.05 into the show - very nice words about Rhydian

Thanks for the link, Sweet C.

Young lad on BGT singing 'You Raise Me Up'. I just knew they'd be someone singing a song that we've heard Rhyd sing.

Was he good Sue? (I'm guessing that was Liam?)
Interesting that first he sings "Danny Boy/Londonderry Air" and then he sings "You Raise Me Up" which is based on that song

It wasn't to my taste, Grim but he can definitely sing. He mentioned on the ITV2 spin-off of BGT that he might sing 'Danny Boy' again for the final. Wonder what Christopher Stone will sing? Maybe 'Somewhere' or 'Phantom of the Opera'. Doubt it will be 'Go West'.

Bah, Somewhere is Rhydian's song! Though I'll sing it on Friday.

Chris Stone was good and he sang well but he seemed too LOUD and Rhyd knew how to sing soft and with emotion (Chris sang with emotion though).
Somewhere IS Rhyd's song IMO

Chris sang Somewhere again - interesting he sang songs Rhyd has sang and we have heard:
O Fortuna
Somewhere
You Raise Me Up
TID
This is My Life

this season, all previously sung by Rhyd! In OF's case Rhyd's version was used!
IMO Spelbound could be at the Olympics opening ceremony.

We also heard What If (sung by Olivia).
Good morning!
Christopher was good I thought, but not as good as Rhyd.

Hello

Interview with Rhyd today on Shan Cothi show - starts at 1.06

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b00smrx7

Talk of a long black wig for WOTW

of concerts we already know about plus a 'gig at the O2' with Ruthie Henshall - no idea when that might be as yet though.

I did grim but he was not my favourite.

I was very pleased that Spelbound won and that Twist and Pulse came second

Rhydian is shortly to appear on C4Wales Shan Cothi show - it starts at 9pm

WOW ..... have just watched Rhydian sing on the Shan Cothi show. Missed the interview as the website is in welsh and was a complete stroke of luck that I actually found the 'watch it live on line' page

First song was, I think from The Marriage of Figaro, the really fast one and had me grinning stupidly at the screen by the time it ended, the second was a duet with Shan, don't know what it was called but I thoroughly enjoyed both of them.

He looked gorgeous as ever.

Wow wow wow wow

Rhydian was stunning on the Shan Cothi show - he looked fabulous, sang from the Barber of Seville wittily and brilliantly and was very very sexy in the duet from Don Giovanni

Watch out for the YTs which will be going up in the next 24 hours I'm sure

Hi grimtales,

If you google s4/clic and select the top one, Home, it will take you to the english verson of the site. Select Learners on the top bar (second to last) , there's a picture of Rhydian with Shan singing their duet. Select the Shan Clothi show and you will go to the shows web page, on the right hand side you can select to watch again on line. Select catch up on the left hand side, select today, Shan Clothi will come up, select it and the program should appear. It takes a good couple of minutes to load. Sorry if this is long winded but if you can find it this way at least you'll know how to get to it for next time.

Alternatively, try this link: http://www.s4c.co.uk/clic/e_level2.s...s_id=364942542
(not sure if it will work tho, not that good at links)

Well worth watching xxx

Edit: I have just tried the link and it works yay !!!!!
