Dashing in and out but the duet with Shan is now on YT thanks to giddyRhyddyfans

He's sizzling in this! Massive stage presence and Shan's expression at the end before they run up the steps says it all.

Thanks Rattie. Nonna has also very kindly put the interview and two songs up on youtube. The duet is beautiful:

Love the Barber of Seville as well (and I am no opera fan) made me laugh lots too.

Known as the most difficult aria for a baritone to sing.

Thanks for putting me straight guys on the songs.

It's a good job there are people on this forum who know what they are listening to.

I really need to get out more

Whatever it was ......... I still thoroughly enjoyed it!

Wonderful performance and very funny - loved the acting and the cartoon voice 'Figaro' in the middle

I don't know a lot about opera Degsey and have never really appreciated either of these two arias before now - they have been well and truly Rhydified

I think Rhyd would have been a brilliant guest on PSTOS - he could have sung both pop and opera

Yoou weren't far out anyway. The Marriage of Figaro (Mozart) is the sequel to The Barber of Seville. Or more correctly, Rossini's Barber was the prequel Marriage of Figaro was written 30 years earlier. A bit like Revenge of the Sith in relation to Star Wars part IV which was made first There was a third part but it wasn't popular

I think you mean for WOTW Liz

Rhyd does look mean and moody grim

That's some wig! Rhyd said in his radio interview with Shan Cothi that he had been styled by someone from Armani for the photoshoot - but that he would have to do his own make-up on the tour. Hope he learns to put the wig on the right way

Indeed Grim, indeed.

Parson Nathaniel - the scariest parson you could ever wish to meet - especially in a dark alleyway!

Looking forward to seeing more pics from the photoshoot. Especially those with Liz.

Thanks for those links guys for the duet and other song from the recent TV appearance. I'll have a nosy at those.
