Hi everyone.

Looking forward to seeing all those going to see Rhydian in concert tonight.

Wonder which songs he'll perform for us. There's some I'd especially love to hear him sing.

Another question is where will he start his first song As he doesn't always start it on stage - could be from a side entrance or back of the theatre making his way to the stage. Or if he starts on stage it might not necessarily be on the ground, ha ha!

I'm brunette with short (similar to a pixie style) hair and I'll most likely be grinning like a loon!

Can' t type much, on my kindle at the hotel and running out of free WiFi time! Rhyd was amazing tonight, personal favourites were Stars and New York, New York but the whole thing was typical Rhydian awesomeness Didn't meet any RATs, but maybe next time! More gushing tomorrow, I'm sure

Sorry you didn't get to meet anyone Quacka. RATs are usually found on the front row so next time you go to a show feel free to wander down to the front row and introduce yourself!

Really enjoyed the show in Warrington (Hi Sue!) I agree with Quacka that New York, New York was a highlight. I also adore O Holy Night (happy memories of Christmas 2007 for more than one reason) but gutte dhe didn't fall to his knees

The next show I have booked is Llandudno next year but I might be tempted by The Rocky Horror Show

So you've almost succumbed to the temptation of 'Rocky', Dolph. I haven't got anything planned Rhyd-wise for next year so far.

Quacka - I kept telling peeps to look out for you but we didn't spot you. One day we'll catch up with ya.

I thought Rhydian's voice was on fine form on Friday. It was certainly superb on 'The Impossible Dream' which never fails to amaze me.

'Ave Maria' isn't usually my type of song but I really enjoyed it - beautifully sung.

I was disappointed when he didn't perform 'Get The Party Started' as he popped back on stage after a clothing change in his sparkly suit. However he did treat us to some Christmas songs including one of Dolph's faves 'O Holy Night' (lovely!).

Rhydian wasn't signing after this show however one of the funniest moments for me was when I was waiting for a taxi outside the venue with friends. Two young girls managed to grab Rhydian when he made his exit from the venue. He did stop to have his picture taken with them.

When the girls were dispersing from the area, you should have heard them! One was on her mobile squealing that they'd just met Rhydian. They couldn't get over it. Needless to say it had me grinning like a loon. I bet they were both still going on about it when they got home!

You must come to another concert or show Neelia.

Just so you know Neelia there were no toilet incidents at the concert.

Was a case of a missing mobile phone but thankfully that turned up safe and sound. Not my phone I hasten to add (you know who you are! ).

Neelia - look forward to hearing from you next year.

Happy Rhydmas to you too, Grim and all in the RAT House!

Rhydian has posted on RR today. His message below including typos.

Quote:
“Well, I was going to spend Christmas in Brighton but then, last night at the very last minute I jumped in a car home to Wales to suprise everyone. They are all thrilled! It was so last minute that I didn't take anything with me, not even my phone charger, but what the heck...I'll be well looked after here regardless. Will prpbably have to wear some of my brothers hand-me-downs to tide me over!! Nain is here and she sends here love. Thanks for making her feel special guys.
Thank you also for all the cards and gifts that you have sent. I am blown away by your kindness. Some are still in Brighton so I will open them when I return.
Have a wonderful Christmas one and all.
I love you very much
Rhyd x”

I'm pleased he'll be spending Christmas with his family.

He's been in Brighton because of his role as Rocky in 'The Rocky Horror Show'. Seems to be going well.

Hi DiamondDoll,

I remember watching him performing 'Phantom of the Opera' on XF4 and thinking "This guy is like a guest rather than a contestant" Excellent!
