Ahhhh so excited by this synopsis

Spoiler
From DWM 421 - Its five years since Amy and Rory travelled with the Doctor. They're back living in Leadworth, and Amy is pregnant. Rory has grown a ponytail. Life is good, if a little humdrum. Until the Doctor drops by for a visit.

And then they wake up. In the TARDIS, the Doctor, Amy and Rory have had exactly the same dream. But the TARDIS has died, and it's drifting towards a cold star- just 14 minutes till impact! If they don't freeze to death.

And then they wake up. Two worlds: one in the time machine, one in the village that time forgot. One real, the other fake. You're home. You're also dreaming. Trouble is, Rory, Amy, which is which? Their lives depend on making the right choice. But time is running out.

I got it from the Life and Doctor Who combom website!!

I'm loving this idea of the story already!!!

so is this episode the doctor-lite episode of the season?

No it's not. Have you seen the pictures? Doctor, Amy and Rory in Leadworth?

So is this like a Turn-Left episode, or does Amy and Rory leave the Doctor and then he comes back 5 years later and takes them back.

I think its definitely a Doctor-lite.....but he probably has more scenes than usual...

And according to the synopsis its a
Spoiler
dream

so its seems that the Doctor never actaully leaves them...

The description of Leadworth as
Spoiler
the village that time forgot
is interesting.

It is....personally I have not said much on the matter of Rory's badge.....but this could explain it a bit....maybe..

Yes but wouldn't the phrase
Spoiler
time forgot
basically be like
Spoiler
timeless

a bit like the console of the Doctor's Tardis....

Or maybe they are in parallel worlds?

Would a

dream world
constitute as a parallel world?

I'll give them a clue... You're in the TARDIS people! You're about to hit the ice thingee. Dire emergency! Stoopid melonfarming companions.

But in the Radio Times it states that episodes 8 and 9 are set in 2015, so could it be that its not a dream and they are a continuation of episode 7?

Yes, but thats because it's Doctor-Lite not Doctor-Less!

I have another theory...

Perhaps time in Leadworth has started to run at an accelerated rate. The Doctor did actually come back 5 minutes later. It could also explain why Amy wasn't aware of the Daleks.

It's a bit like Narnia.

Or maybe leadworth is some how a tardis hahah (NOTE!! Just as barmy as any other theory)

Another one...

Leadworth is an echo...

And there are no ducks because ducks' quacks don't echo...

(I know that's just an urban myth)

(Myth!!)

But only because the next story is set in 2015, doesn't mean Amy's Choice has to be a continuation....just like the Time of the Angels wasn't a direct continuation of the Victory of the daleks....just another adventure. And the spoiler states that they are
Spoiler
dreaming

But the question is which of those moments is
Spoiler
real and which is the actual dream

And Toby Jones is playing
Spoiler
The Dream Lord

So one of those scenarios is definitely a
Spoiler
dream
but the Tardis crew have to work out which...

okay i dont normaly put up about what i think is going on story arc wise and obviously this is only speculation but as it refers to what is spoilered before i will spoiler this so not to give away anything spoilered before it

Spoiler
what if leadworth is all a dream to the doctor brought about by him regenerating so violently in reaction to teh radiation that he took in and in fact leadworth is all in his head. (keep with me on this) that would explain why the pond has no ducks(because he didnt dream about them its well known that obvious things can be missing from dreams for no apparent reason) the apprent exceleration of time as speculated over by rorys badge and teh state of mobile phones etc. this could also explain why they are having the same dream as both amy and rory are from the doctors dream world they could be dreaming the same as the doctor

the crack
what if the cracks are not following them around but are caused by amy because she is actually from the doctors dreamworld and she is coming out of this dream into the real world. thinking about it now i think i remember prisoner zero said that it was caused by the pendorical (sp) opening and we have been told that this whole series is going to be "timey wimy"

Has rory been seen in filming for the final? because once again going down teh "timey wimey" route how do we know that amys choice is not after the finalle and something happens in there that the doctor doesnt win and just makes it out withe teh tardis diying and hurting towards the cold star

this also could explain why SM has claimed its more fairytale like. yes i am sure there are holes in this that can be picked apart but after reading the first post this just made what i felt about the leadworth dream world idea that i thought of before just had never said. BTW i am not saying at the end of amys tenure as companion we have teh doctor walk out of the swimming pool showers and say good morning to who ever they decied to get in as companion after KG leaves

proberly way off the mark but hey ho theres my two pence worth!

edit yay spoilers worked!!

That spoiler looks wide of the mark - reports are that Karen will stay on for series 6 - Amy's not leaving.

I do like Amy and I hope she chooses the dr but if she has a baby , no
ax she is good for the dr and the dr for her

best companion mix

Jamie and Zoe

Sarah Jane and John Pertwee

Susan and William Hartnell

Tom Baker and Leela

Peter Davison, Teegan and Nyssa and Adric

Colin Baker hm noo in my view , car crash tv

Mcoy and Ace brill despite the rubbish scripts

Mcgann and Grace hm no , she was too jaded for him really

Eccleston and Rose brill

Tennant and Rose good too sometimes , mickey was the spare part till he moved to the parrell uni

Tennant and Martha not really but at times she worked with him well

Doctor and Donna-brill , comedy value but tragic too as he had to lose her

ax
