Benefit cosmetics

Hi

Just wondered if anyone uses any of the Benefit cosmetic range? Was interested in trying Moonbeam/Highbeam/Benetint/Posietint. Not really sure what the difference is between them. Can anyone advise? For bit of background info, I've got fairly pale skin.
Thanks

Moonbeam and High Beam are lovely products which are more or less the same thing except that Moonbeam is more suitable for the evening, it's a goldy/pinky colour and can be used to highlight cheekbones, browbones, collarbones, in fact, anywhere. High Beam can be used day and evening and is a lovely pale pink. You can also mix them into your foundation to give skin a lovely glow.

I would say Moonbeam is better for a warmer skintone and High Beam looks good on the palest of skin. Be warned though, you need VERY little or you could end up looking very shiny!

Sorry I can't comment on the other two products as I've never used them.

Have fun experimenting!

I've never used them but have used similar products. Posietint is a paler cheek/lip tint than Benetint so better for paler skin. The similar one to Benetint was actually ok on my pale skin as it goes quite transparent so it's not a mega deep colour. They stay power was quite good and they were very cheap compared to the Benefit ones.

ETA: Just found out that on the skin Posietint is quite bright whereas Benetint it much more subtle and realistic.

The benetint is gorgeous; the rose aroma is beautiful. It is a multi - purpose product which can be used on the entire face - cheeks, lips and eyes. I use the high beam also and the jiffy tan. I can't fault it and it's not uber expensive, either. I don't wear make-up usually, but this brand is really natural looking.

Thanks for all the replies. Think I might investigate HighBeam and Benetint in Debenhams on Monday.

Out of the four I would definitely recommend High Beam and Benetint to you. I love High Beam for both the day and the night, but as another poster said you only need a tiny bit on the brush! It is a pinky beige colour and I use it as a highlight above my cheekbones and/or under my brow bone. Benetint is also a really good cheek tint, I have pale skin and it's fine for me. Make sure you blend it quick though otherwise you can see the dots where you have put it on your face! It smells really nice too. I have also started using it is a lip stain which I quite like but I find it makes your lips quite dry if you don't use a primer.

IMO they are the best two Benefit products, apart from maybe the Dandelion blusher which I also really like.

I use the Playsticks foundation and as stressed before on this forum, I cannot recommend it enough.
