"Over The Rainbow finalists Jessica Robinson and Stephanie Davis have been struggling with illness this week, DS can reveal.
The duo, who are in the final seven Dorothys on the BBC One show, visited a vocal specialist during the week to check that they were well enough to perform.
Stephanie felt sick and "throaty" and was told to rest her voice ahead of the weekend. However, she has since been cleared to perform on the live Saturday show.
Jessica was forced to pull out of training at the start of the week after suffering from a "croaky" voice. The specialists have said that they are happy for her to perform, but it is not confirmed whether she will sing tomorrow night.
A source told DS: "Jessica is determined to go on, but knows she shouldn't strain her voice. She is also singing 'Cabaret' tomorrow, which is one of her favourites. She used to sing it on the jukebox when she went to the pub at home."
"Also Andrew Lloyd Webber has said that 'Cabaret' would suit her perfectly."
Meanwhile, Danielle Hope celebrated her 18th birthday in the Dorothy House on Monday night. All the girls dressed as famous West End characters for the event, with the birthday girl coming as Dorothy."
Call me a cynic, but I do hope their illnesses won't be made a mountain out of a molehill of in order to gain them votes. Having said that though, I hope they're getting better and well enough to perform, plus I hope it's not catching.
I wonder what will happen if they can't perform. I'm sure everyone remembers the week on X Factor when Diana didn't perform and then Laura, who was one of the most talented and odds-on to win, unfortunately left. Discuss away
