I have blue eyes and I hate them. I just think the whole 'blonde hair/blue eyes' that I have been 'blessed' with are really predictable and boring.

I tend to like contrasts e.g black hair and blue eyes or blonde hair and brown eyes.
Predictable? It is the most rare combination after red hair and blue eyes!

I have dark brown hair and light blue/grey-ish eyes. I'd love to have those bright blue eyes that really stand out.

I have brown eyes and I find them so boring!

I wish I had big extremely dark eyes that are black. I think black eyes are rare but they have a special beauty to them!

I love dark hair hair and blue eyes. Love it on men!

And pale skin, dark eyes are very pretty too. Like Audery Hepburn. Anne Hathaway, Belle from Beauty and the beast!

My eyes are so dark brown they can look black.

My husband has blue eyes. They are my favourite, very bright blue.

My son has grey eyes with a hint of brown in them. Like they were meant to turn brown but after loading up 25% failed .

Big eyes are obviously beautiful in any colour, but if you had to choose out of big eyes what colour is most prettiest, striking. What would be your choice? Lets do a vote and see whats most popular?

1. Big blue eyes

2. Big green eyes

3. Big hazel eyes

4. Big brown eyes

5. Extremely dark eyes- almost looks black.

For me I adore big blue eyes like Mischa Barton! so that has to be the winner its just such a pretty colour.

But also black eyes are pretty too, so mysterious and unique.
As long as she is pretty and adores page 3 of the Daily Star or The sun, I don't mind Lol

Dark eyes on a man. I have green eyes, but they sometimes look blue. Apparently green eyes do change colour.
My OH has the bluest of blue eyes, gorgeous. Mine are green though, and I have been told that they do change colour and get darker when I am angry or upset.

I love dark hair and deep set, deep brown eyes on a man.

I have dark hair, pale skin and green eyes. My x husband has red hair and blue eyes. My wee girl has red hair and grey eyes (with long black curly lashes like me!) and my wee boy has brown hair and green eyes. Me and the kids' eyes change shade slightly too.

Apparently green eyes do change colour.
My eyes are characterised by central heterochromia. In my case the outer iris is green and the inner circle is a light hazel/dark orange colour. To further complicate things, when I'm in an amorous mood the outer iris colour (green) changes to a brow/hazel colour, which supports your comment above.

I've been told by a number of partners that the change is very noticeable and fast, to the point they're able to watch it happen. Thankfully, this appears to have a beneficial effect on procedings rather than them thinking I'm some kind of mutant.

Would you say they are brown or hazel?

Eyes only change colour over a number of years, it's usually ambient lighting that appears to make them change colour or sometimes an increased bloodflow to the face:

I think eye shape matters as well. I mean some people might ha big eyes but they might look droopy or too bulbous.

With regards to both eye shape and colour . I think

Audery Hepburn had incredibly beautiful dark eyes, they looked like a painting. Just a really lovely shape, her eyes were unique.

Alexis Bledel blue eyes are absoluetly gorgeous, they are so big and beautiful colour. Just like a doll.

From your link, this quote seems to describe what I'm told happens with my eyes:

In the same way that the face can turn red in this instance, the eyes could be affected by increased blood flow as well. This might add a red tint to the eye color, which might darken browns or cause green to seem hazel.

Mine are similar to Audrey Hepburns, big and an intense brown, almost black, unfortunately, the similarity ends there.

Wow! That sounds cool!

Thing is, I've never seen it myself, it's always other people who notice it and then comment.

I had a friend with hazel coloured eyes, and sometimes it depended on what she was wearing, if it was green it tended to bring the green out in her eyes a little more.

I love seeing dark people with light eyes. Very striking.

I have light bright blue eyes and have been asked quite a few times by people I've just met if I wear blue contact lenses.

I like dark brown almost black eyes...would love a pair!

I have blue eyes but one is dark blue, the other is lighter, and apparently it's quite noticible.

A couple of years ago, I met up with an old friend I hadn't seen for about 18 years and they said: oh, have you still got your different coloured blue eyes?' Well, hello, yes

My daughters all have different coloured eyes, one has a greeny-brown, one has blue and one has a sort of grey-green and the girls who have the green tones in their eyes, their eye colour seems to change dependent on their mood but the one with blue eyes, her colour never changes, it's all quite odd

I like my eyes, they are my favourite feature! I always thought i had blue eyes but a year or so ago someone said they are grey and ive realised they are actually grey ever since then!

I like either really dark eyes or really light eyes. I like striking colours!

I have grey eyes, but they look green if I wear green, and blue if I wear blue. And one of my eyes is half brown, so I pretty much have all the colours .
