Also, did The Doctor leave his jacket on an Angel's finger?

Looks like he gets it back next week, but he was sans jacket in every scene since then...

I only quoted wiki because it was a concise written summation of their character. I remember them in exactly the way it described and it was this clever, quantum theory related idea which i liked about them.

The Doctor owns more than one jacket shock.

River was transported back to the prison ship. So who did those people on the prison ship think was "looking after" her?

I think the whole thing about the angels moving was to show that they had realised amy couldnt see, thats why the doctor was saying walk like you can see, so that the angels thought that and would be quantum locked, but when amy said she couldnt find the communicator they realised that they could move

or something like that

Heres how Wiki describes them, based on their explaination in Blink:

Their physiology is quantum-locked, so that they only occupy a single position in space when seen by an observer (see Copenhagen interpretation). When they are not observed they become a "quantum wave form" that occupies many positions in space. Therefore, they cannot move while observed, but can move extremely quickly when unseen.

They don't 'turn to stone' on purpose to be sneaky, they literally cannot move when an observer in present.

Terrible pair of episodes and a terrible series so far.”

You obviously hate it because you want to. Its as pointless as all the sycophancy you also find here.

The Ravenous Bugblatter Beast is so mind-bogglingly stupid that it thinks that if you can't see it, it can't see you. Therefore, the best defence against a Bugblatter Beast is to wrap a towel around your head.

I hope when they say "bang" they don't mean a Slitheen does a massive fart.

But the one he's seen in next weekend wasn't blue?

I guess they all have their own Sonic Screwdriver in the pocket too

I have to say that scene just didn't work for me.

Do the Weeping Angels freeze because they are being watched or just because they think they are being watched?

And it has not changed. They cannot move while not observed. But we learnt more about them in this episode - the knowledge of their power and the way they work has developed. That's not a bad thing.

A major part of quantum physics is that sub-atomic particles act in a bizarre way when unobserved but are forced to collapse into a settled state when observed.

The original cocept of the Angels was that they were a lifeform who behaved in this quantum state.

Here is a better explination of this concept in a video about the double slit experiment:

Sorry that a plot hole has ruined things for you and its great for you to keep us on the straight and narrow with the "Angels Rule Book".

Keep up the good work.

Significant that the TARDIS itself is mentioned?

Obviously because they think they're being watched - they don't go for the eyes, they go for the actions.

Or is this too OTT”

Probably not the right place for this, but I do agree with you. The connection between Amy and River don't seem to be coincidental. (And that crack in time that seems to follow Amy would help explain how they could be the same person as well as why River and the Doctor can't get their time sequenced.)

Like River Song, Amy has ginger hair; both River and Amy have ginger-colored hair; both are feisty, independent, and adventurous problem solvers; and both have deep respect for but don't idolize the doctor. There is even a slight connection between Amy's last name, "Pond," and "River." (Add that seeminly stand-alone dialogue about the lack of ducks in the duck "pond" and everything gets even more curious.)

Just the fact that Moffet brought River in so early in the series stand out to me. Logically, I would think he would wait until later, after Amy's story had developed so she could claim her place without a "rival" of any sort. Instead, he brings River in early on, which makes me think that their connection must be vital in order for us to truly understand Amy.

I'll even thought about how very sad/poignant it would be to discover that somehow Amy is River and then have to continue watching the relationship grow (between Amy and the Doctor) knowing what would happen (unless, of course, the doctor already figured it out)

It is just too easy to drift along and string things together in between episodes. I love to solve mysteries, but must admit there really aren't enough clues yet. However, conjecture can be fun...
