I think some of us (those who are waiting for a real scandal), might be rather disappointed tonight.

I'm really looking forward to it....

Hpefully it'll be really funny.
Spoiler
Matt's face already makes me grin in one of the pics. The Doctor may be happy to face down super new daleks with a biscuit but finally something that REALLY scares him

Hope some of the people who over reacted in this thread are bit now!

*smug mode* what was I saying about taking one tiny bit of information and blowing it out of all possible reason. *smug mode off*

Once again there is an agenda going here and it wasn't masterminded by the BBC or Steven moffat and it clear the the fail want to run a anti BBC and doctor who agenda

Absolutely! And considering the level of dead Amy would have considered herself to be (seriously, trying to fake out an army of angels while relying on a cheap sonar box to make your way through a forest floor with time itself ready to wipe you from existence if you don't go quick enough and feeling fingers an inch from your neck AND knowing there's something in your mind that'll kill you if you so much as blink) yeah, I totally understand and am onboard with her wanting to grab the moment, her last night before marriage, to establish that connection, even if ONLY for that night. Frankly I'd be looking to do the bloody same *shiver*.

They really need to tone down the sex related scenes, I don't mind it but there are loads of little kids out there watching it! Yes it's appropriate for the time slot but this Doctor Who, not EastEnders!

i'm sorry i thought it was your mum that thought that, at least it was in the other thread.

in any case, there were zero sex related scenes in this episode and indeed have been zero in the entire history of the show.

Umm, sorry don't agree. There was nothing there that a kid who wasn't already aware of sex as a topic would have picked up as such, the overt stuff stayed safely on the kissing side. The double meanings (time I sorted you out for instance) will ONLY be understood by those old enough to get them and young kids will take away the 'I need to fix you' meaning. They walked a fine line with this but nothing went over it and they were certainly further from that line than, oh, say the last few episodes of Season 1 was after Captain Jack burst on the scene.

Yep - I thought that was a lovely scene - funny so the adults would get the subtleties and little kids will just think he was squirming because she was trying to kiss him - little boys often run away when girls suggest a game of kiss chase. This is essentially the same thing.

Big fuss over nothing.

Hmmmmmmm

What do with think if this behaviour??

A little out of character? Or is it just another spin on a Doc/Comp relationship - ie she's in 'lust' with the doctor rather than in 'love' with him...??

And that pose she did on the bed -- how inviting -- but it reminded me SO much of this pic of her and I wondered if it was a nod to it...

I really didn't like this scene at all! I don't think it was in keeping with how Amy's relationship with the Doctor has been developing this season. Karen in particular seemed to have issues acting it as well.

Hoping for some kind of explanation. I don't see how this kind of behaviour can endear a character to the audience. Maybe if Rory was a nasty sod... but he seems pretty harmless.

I didn't see it as out of character at all. Amy has trust issues, is very independent and just goes for whatever she happens to want at the time. I don't really see why that's a problem. I thought the scene was hilarious, and I'm loving Gillan's performance more every week.

You do know we don't have Seasons in the UK don't you? We have Series...if you watched Confidential, you would have seen that neither she nor Matt Smith had any issues with this scene buit thought it funny...I presume since you call her Karen you are on personal terms and can enlighten us as to her troubles with it?
