The Eye in Front of River
klea61

In one of the scenes in the second part of the Weeping Angel episode there's an eye.

Just after the Doctor has finished yelling at Amy (who still can't see) he looks at River and speaks to her. She's standing in front of a screen (small one bright blue) and on it is an eye searching around for something.

When was the last time the eye was visible? The crack in the wall. The eye searching for Prisoner Zero.

Yup. There is. It's only there for a couple of seconds though. While Amy is running through the forest.

I saw this too. This backs up my theory of the Atraxi and the Pandorica

so are we meant to think River is Prisoner Zero? Could be a possibility as she's a felon?

What about the Doctor being Prisoner Zero?

No, I don't think so. River Song killed the man she thought of the most, the best person she ever met. Which would explain why she became Prisoner Zero. Because she killed the Doctor - or THOUGHT she killed the Doctor she became a prisoner and was trapped back in time or something along those lines to before the Doctor was killed. That's when the Doctor met the eye.

But Amy Pond has to come in there somewhere . . . maybe she IS River Song.

I missed it, but my eldest son spotted it and got very excited. We know that River Song was in prison - perhaps the same one as Prisoner Zero. It would be bizaare if River was Prisoner Zero since as far as we know River can't change her appearance or link to people in comas.

Noticed it flicking about on the screen myself.

That's twice I've been back to take a look, once for the jacket and once for this. No wonder the iplayer stats are so high

I don't think that's an eye.
It just looks like an elliptical feedback type pattern to me.

I didn't notice the eye in any of the eps, can anyone direct me to them somehow?

It was pretty hard to notice in Episode 1, isn't in ep 2, 3 or 4 and was on a computer screen in ep 5.

Also, "The Eleventh Hour" was set in the present
day, and River comes from the future. There was no
evidence in any of her eps that River has ever travelled in time to the era of "TEH".

The rift is in time, not in space. Could be the same prison at the same time for all we know.

Some of you are too good.

I missed it the first time, but saw it on iPlayer.

I love watching the episode, coming here to find out what I've missed, then going back for another watch.
