Very much enjoyed it this week

Karen "subconsciously" grabbing Matt's inner thigh...

Yeah, I thought Confidential was great tonight; I was disappointed by the last few so this was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the recaps of Stephen's previous episodes.

Really? I actually gave up on this one altogether. The last several have almost entirely been telling us what happened in the episode we just watched.

The first ten minutes of this one were like that: I just lost interest and stopped watching. That's the first one I've missed.

I think sometimes watching Confidential straight after the episode airs can be repetitive and can spoil the enjoyment a bit; I like to watch it later in the week sometimes.

I like how well Karen and Matt seem to get on. (The teasing about her accent and her doing the thigh thing.)

Yep, I'd say that she's the first of the New Who companions I'd actually want to get to know (not like that ya bunch of sick bar stewards). Seems like a genuinely fun person to be around, same for Matt actually and they do really seem to get on well... here's hoping they're back for a second season.

I watched it on iplayer and fastforwarded the beginning bits. I like a moffatt love fest as much as the next woman, but I wasn't really interested in that today. The stuff about the current episode was great- the Matt and Karen bits on the bed were hilarious! I think confidential is too long. They seem to need to fill it with endless fawning a lot of the time!
PR.

It's funny as Karen and Matt apart they both come across quite shy and awkward (can't think of a better wording!) in the interviews, but together they are happy to sit there mocking each other. It's good they get on as it comes across in the characters.

For those of you that didn't watch it, here's my favourite moment from DWC - Matt and Karen discuss "Smoochy Smoochy Time" (their words, not mine):

I found that cheesey and annoying. The rest is funny.

I liked the way that they showed how SM got his ideas, like the monster under the bed, and the way they showed that he thinks of how his own children react to monsters. It was very interesting.

Coincidentally, I bet Matt Smith was just HATING his life that day...

Also had to laugh at Karen's line about Amy having two mattresses on her bed... just had this vision of Amy's aunt putting the second one on there while muttering about it not being fair that her charge ended up being twelve foot tall
