There's something about the way Jenny sings that completely captures me, she has a really lovely voice and manages to make the song sound really powerful without needing to belt out every note.

Just found this article online about Jenny:
http://news.scotsman.com/entertainme...las.6258342.jp Basically, it's about how Jenny used to be bullied because she was overweight, and how she managed to lose four stone in six months. Her comments are really sincere, and she seems like a really strong person. If you're a Jenny fan you should definitely read this article. The more I find out about Jenny, the more I like her. |

Jenny is a fave!
I do worry that her performances have shown a decrease in 'spark.' Charlotte keeps harping on her voice getting a bit nasal but when you are so petite that is what frequently happens. I'm no fan of Pink but Jenny did a great job with that song. |

Jenny has an unfair advantage simply because she's Scottish. English people tend to vote for the "best" contestant but Scots always vote for the Scottish contestant. That's why there's been greater proportion of Scottish winners on other talent shows than population would dictate; they all have their 5 minutes of fame and then vanish - David Sneddon anyone? Michelle McManus, Leon Jackson..
What are you doing on here this is an appreciation thread and also do you think we are all so stupid we only vote for our own. I would be interested to find out when you asked everyone in Scotland how they vote in reality shows. Please refrain from such comments they are offensive. |

From Wikipedia: In 2009 Sneddon signed a new deal with major Music publisher (popular music) Sony/ATV Music Publishing and will be writing for labels Decca Records, Universal Music Group and Syco, which is Simon Cowell’s label. Quote from David in Paisley Daily Express, “This deal has been in the pipeline for a year…we wanted to wait for the right deal. I don’t think there has been another reality TV winner who took a back step to this side of the industry but I like being able to get on with my work. We had to prove ourselves... and so that’s why we did a lot of development work." In 2008 and 2009 David decided to focus exclusively on his songwriting career, while he also performed a few occasional gigs in London over this time. He signed in 2009 with new management Three Six Zero Group and to Sony/ATV Music Publishing in July 2009, as a songwriter. He has been working with several high profile, as well as highly-anticipated emerging artists in 2009 and 2010 |

Jenny is statistically one of the public's favourite girls to win. She and Jessica are the only ones left in the competition not to have been in the bottom two.
I definitely think she's gonna be "the journey" person who gets better and better. She was absolutely fantastic at Feeling Good. I want her to be given a song that will showcase her talents even more, I think she has even more to give. Last edited by Becker : 04-05-2010 at 00:29. Reason: Made a mistake :P |

Jenny is my favourite contestant and has been from the start of the competition. She has a beautiful voice and comes across as friendly. However, I do think ALW does not want her as Dorothy and I have noticed a lack of attention being given to her compared to some of the other girls which is very unfair.
She hasn't been in the bottom two yet though so fingers crossed she will go a lot further! |

If the end result is based on public votes alone I think she has a huge chance of winning, and ALW can't really complain because the whole point in the competition is getting a Dorothy who the public like. |

![]() Jenny is a great representative of Scotland compared to the drivel that has represented Scotland before, it's as if they avoid the talent Scotland has and churn out also ran(s). I really like Jenny, completely underestimated and so much better than Ashley & Keith (obviously better than Michelle McManus & Leon). She should make the final, but needs the votes as ALW will kick her out if she hits bottom 2. |

Mac... I am sure I have read posts of yours in BB and you have admitted there is a Scottish support for Scottish contestants compared to the English vote which is split over several contestants, hence the fact that some weak Scottish acts get through in reality shows, I could be wrong but I'm sure it was you.

She should make the final, but needs the votes as ALW will kick her out if she hits bottom 2. I have seen both of them.... I saw Ashley six times in We Will Rock You, where she played the teacher 4 times and twice she played the huge part of Killer Queen, when Brenda Edwards was off and she has a big voice and is a good actress too. I have seen Keith several times in Joseph, when he was on stage for most of the night as the narrator and I have also seen him in his own show where he sang songs from the musicals and he too is a very good singer, so go and watch these people in a 'real' situation rather than reality shows! |

Here's the OTR girls at Sweet Charity last night with John Partridge...and as usual, Jenny is stuck on the end of the line!
