Give me Jenny over Lauren any day! She is a beautiful singer who delivered week after week. She was convincing every time which cannot be said for the others who have been in the bottom. A great shame!

She'll have a brilliant career.

Never been in this thread before... but I thought I'd just say that Jenny is a lovely girl and I was really sad to see her go. Her "Over the Rainbow" was beautiful! good luck to her

When the girls who were singing behind Jenny on Saturday, after she had been evicted, looked towards ALW,
they should have changed some of the words to "ALW stitched you up completely"

I hope Jenny has a successful career and at 18-years of age, she's got plenty of time ahead of her!

Just popped in to say I thought Jenny was lovely and she was totally stitched up with that VT with the dog. Shame.

Hi, this is my first visit to this thread but I would also like to add that she was stiched up, even my young daughter could see it - I couldn't believe how hastily ALW dispatched of her.

I have to say that she sang 'Over the Rainbow' beautifully, the best so far - her voice sounded so sweet and pure. I also think she looks rather like Agnetha - the blond one from Abba.

Good to see she's so positive. As she says, many of the runners-up on the previous shows have done very well.

I was very sad to see Jenny go and I agree that it was manipulated by ALW. I could completely see her as Dorothy and thought she would have been brilliant in the part.
I thought she was very dignified after the sing-off and although obviously upset, handled OTR very well.
I hope she will have a successful career in the future and would love to go and see her in a West End show.

Thats all!

Was watching the group performances from episode two and how amazing was Jenny. It was good to see her given lines and some camera time wonder what would have happened if that had continued

Several people who were at live shows have commented that although people made a deal about her dancing she put everything into it and didn't look out of place in any of the group numbers .....

shall miss her

Sad that Jenny has gone and I thought her OTR was quite beautiful , I am sure she will go far with that voice of hers . Good luck Jenny

I'm still gutted Jenny won't be in the semi-final. At least she went out on a great performance, and it's better to be a surprise exit than hanging around too long.

Yeah because of her weight at the time.

Jenny was on a local tea time chat show this week. Here's the link, good luck getting it to play. It keeps sticking on my computer. The interview is near the start of the programme.

Thanks.

Thanks... Jenny looks very pretty on the STV programme and came over really well and seems to be a sweet girl.

Did you hear what Jenny said about the dog running away from her that day? She said the girls were all given 'treats/kibble' for the dogs that they had to keep in their pockets to coax them with... but she decided to give the dog his treats all at once, so she thinks that because she had no more treats to give him, that's why he ran away from her!

I hope she has much success in the future!

Hi, this is my first visit to this thread too

I think Jenny would have been perfect singing one of the Disney themed songs this week, she also seemed like a genuine, nice girl and I was sad to see her and Jessica go last week. I never understood why no one ever seemed to gush over her voice the way they do with Lauren as I personally find it much more pleasant to listen to, though equally strong, and she was one of the few girls I could trust never to drift out of tune. She also seems one of the most youthful. I'm sure she has a very bright future though, was really sweet to see how inspired she was after Mamma mia!
does anyone know whether she'll be at the Fringe festival?

and yes she was horribly stitched up with dog-gate. but nothing new i don't recall her getting many good comments through the whole series, despite constant strong performances, except in the first show! grrr

That explains it! So, nothing to do with "rapport", just a mistake she wouldn't have made again.

I'm thinking of setting up a fan blog for Jenny, just like someone has done for Jessica. I'd like to get in touch with Jenny to ask her first but I'm not sure how to.

Would be good for her. She's a bit invisible at the moment as Bronte, Stephanie, Jessica, Steph, Sophie and Dani are on twitter. Its notable too that Connie, Aoife, Helena, Siobhan and Jessie, Sam, Rachel and Sarah all have great sites or fan run sites with links to whats effectively a multi-media CV in many cases. (Niamh has a great site too but doesn't need to update hers until she wants to leave LND ) Helena, Leanne, Rachel and Niamh are also on twitter. Visibilty seems to be a good thing.

Actually twitter looks to be potentially important. Its interesting if you look at who follows who and you can see how networks build. Sheridan Smith is following Bronte, Ben is talking to Bronte,Stephanie is talking to Rachel.. , some WE stars have following lists that look like a WestEnd Who's Who.
