There was a bit of a mess up at the start of the number - the band started too early and so the girls (or maybe just Steph) started singing when their mikes were still down and Graham was still introducing them.

If you catch it on Y.T at the very start of Oklahoma the band (or at least thats what he's sayin) starts up and Steph sings when they were not expecting it.

To me it looked more like a problem with the girls mics.

But it was Jessica who sung the 'first' line. Look at her actions, as though she's saying it to someone:

If you look at the lyrics of Oklahoma, it opens with:

Quote:
“There's never been a better time to start in life-
It ain't too early and it aint too late!
Starting as a farmer with a brand new wife-
Still be living in a brand-new state!”

The first line was missed - I think Steph was meant to sing it but held back (at least, that was what ALW was saying) so it didn't muck up the verse/the girls/clash with Jessica's second line. She also acted to get into position for the rest of the song. It would've been easy to stay in the start position as she didn't have anything to sing.
