And then there was poor Jessica in an ill-fitting jacket that totally bunched up from the start of the song.

What is wrong with them?

I loved Charlottes song with the girls but her hedgehog sipked black top was so distracting .
Some of the dresses have been horrendous . Danielle calf lenght dress comes to mind ,

Then there was that awful mini tent thing they put Jessica in. The trouble is that when the dresses are awful I feel it detracts from the performance. And it can't do much for the girls' confidence.

It's the hair that's worst for me. Why do they insist on those one-sided hairstyles, especially for Stephanie? They do nothing for her.

I agree. They are pretty girls and sometimes the hair is just too old for them. ALW was complaining about just that a few weeks ago wasn't he?

Totally agree with the sentiment of this thread. There was another one similar the other week basically saying wardrobe should 'do one'
I think the girls could do a better job clothes-wise themselves. Hair and make-up is another matter really, you need make up artists and hairstylists to help you for something like TV.

The clothes and outfit Jessica had last week (when singing There You'll Be) were awful. It's as if they didn't even do anything with her hair, or were getting it ready to slap a wig over it. Is it me being completely out of touch with fashion or was what they did to her last week TRULY awful?

I think sometimes wardrobe feel they have to do strange things to make sure the girls' "feature colour" is included. What I can't understand was who in their right mind said - "let's cut up an old pillow case and put a cotton collar and cuffs on a black lurex dress."

Couldn't they have given her a yellow silk scarf or belt or necklace if they wanted to add the accent colour? It just looked ludicrous!

I agree with all of this, some of their outfits are just gross. Also I do wonder why they ever decided one of the girls colour was going to be bright yellow, poor Stephanie!!

Jenny's dress was horrendous, it brought attention to her waist and was at least a size too small, dont these dressmakers measure the girls? terrible terrible job they are doing how they made such an unflattering outfit is beyond me.

Is it just me who thinks most of the girls look prettier in the rehearsals in the VT's, than fully made up and dressed up some weeks?

I actually quite liked the dress. Her hair wasn't great though - they always seem to make her look like an old lady.

The hair, especially, baffles me.

Worst outfit of the entire series tonight was the Oxfam reject combo poor Jessica wore. Talk about:

danielle looked really pretty for once. last week she did too.

Jessica looked like there had been a raid at the dump and they had just dressed her in what ever they could find. utterly horrible. If they wanted to make her look like pippy long stocking or penny crayon then they were half way there.

Sophie always looks great, and I really liked Stephanies Mr Bojangles

I think Sophie would look good in a bin bag as she is such a stunner! But I have to disagree with you about Stephanie's Mr Bojangles outfit as it looked like a cheap makeover with clashing materials.
