Can I give my hamster an ice lolly stick to gnaw on to keep her teeth down?

Yeah, she has had carrot today. She has started chewing the bars quite a lot and seeing as I just had a lolly I thought that she might be able to chew on that instead and better for her teeth too.

Put a small wooden block in there

it'd be a better bet if you bought one from the shop designed to be chewed

or cardboard tubes

bar chewing is sometimes more of a want to be out of the cage more - i know the last one of mine was like this
