I really miss it and I was hoping it was going to be fairly soon after the election - does it depends on who gets into Govt.?

Junior Apprentice looks to be just as riveting as the original Apprentice if that helps the withdrawal symptoms.

Im guessing as soon as the junior apprentice finishes we will have the real series. Its 6 weeks long, so I think maybe 6/7 weeks time we will have the apprentice

No, for a start the series is going to be scheduled oddly with some weeks doubling up...and you're going to have a much much longer wait for the proper Apprentice series.

Does anyone else think it's unfair that Lord webber a conservative supporter gets to be on telly every Saturday/Sunday night with his show but Lord sugar a labour supporter gets his show put on hold until after the election?

But isn't that because Sugar has an actual position as enterprise tsar, and thus is practically working for Labour ?
That's a bit more than just being a supporter of a specific party.

I don't think it's fair that Lord Webber has been expressing his support for Cameron when he has been told by the BBC not to.

Then that sounds like an issue they should be raising with him...that doesn't mean it's ok therefore to allow Sugar's programme during the election.

Why not allow the Apprectice during the election. Ok, Sugar has a position with the labour party but he doesn't bang on about it in the show.

No but the way I think tv works weather he bangs on about it or not he is on tv so they would have to give the same amount of screen time to the other partys to make it fair

I don't know how true it is, but I know someone who's father works for Alan Sugar's company (Amstrad) and she told me the other day there won't be any new series of the proper Apprentice this year! I know it has been filmed, so I'd be surprised if they are really delaying the until next year. Just wondered why she would have thought that though - could it be true?

If the political bias argument holds logically they can't do it till the prospects of another early election have receeded and if the Apprentice lasts 3 months there's not even a decent gap to an October relection if they started now.

Oh that's great if it's going to start in June - was worried when I heard it would not be till next year. But are the really going to change the day to Saturday? June 12th is a Saturday!

Just been looking at the main site for Junior Apprentice and there is a link for candidates to apply for the 2011 adult series?

Hopefully it will start next month after Junior Apprentice? I've missed the theme tune!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice/jnr/series1/ website has a typo? says June but means May. It lasts for six weeks so proper one can't start until start of July at the earliest.

Btw another in Amscreen thinks it might be next year too. Nearly coming up to the end of her first proper year there too.

My mistake in the other post. I thought you meant May for the Junior, as the proper Apprentice does definitely not start in June or July.
