Never been a huge fan of Fred and Mel to be honest and given the stuff that was in the papers that they wanted to warn us about during DOI makes me think they have been stirring things up a tad this year.
Personally wouldnt miss them if they dont return next series and also hope they wont be doing Ice Party would prefer Alex and Luc again along with Stu and Flo.

Have to say I heard something about Mel, which is a real eye opener - a bit sad really if its true. It did come from the horses mouth though so I'd guess it is.

I would be my years salary that they will be back next year on DOI - they are too popular (Mel, Fred, Matt, Frankie and Dan are pretty much set in stone IMO).

This is why I think Kyran should not have mentioned it. Mel didnt mention names, Kyran has made it obvious he is talking about Mel. There could be a backlash now against Fred and Mel which isnt fair. Nobody knows the whole story and what goes on behind the scenes.

I hope this doesnt mean Fred and Mel will not return next year. I think they are great, wouldn't be the same without them.

This really annoys me, I've always been a really big Kyran fan, and he's really gone down in my estimations. On facebook Mel was making a general & valid point, without mentioning names, as I agree as I skate you need know exactly what position feet/arms have got to be in, and my skating instructor has at least 10-15 years of skating experience. For Kyran to post something like this on twitter, when we know who its about, makes me very angry, as its gone from a private arguement to a very public one, which is completely unnecessary, poor Mel.

Been trying to sort out a holiday for the Ice Party in October, but after those comments I rather not go, as it completely changed my opinion of him, which is a shame as he's always been my favourites during all the series, and was disappointed when he didn't skate on this years tour.

Please don't judge Kyran on today's events. None of us know the extent of what has happened and why he made his comments public.
I know Kyran and he is one of the nicest men you could wish to meet.
We've all done and said things which, later on, we regret x

This, in my opinion, is exactly what is wrong with the likes of Twitter and Facebook. They are sites which should be used to keep up to date with friends/celebs not used to voice veiled hints about people so that the public can guess who you're talking about while you float along on a sea of supposed "ignorance".

Whatever the rights and wrongs of this situation, to use either website to air your grievances while subtly sticking the knife into someone else is not the way to go about things imo.

If Kyran does have a problem with Mel or anyone else connected to DOI Twitter is NOT really the place to voice his opinion as its not very nice for the fans to witness spats like this its also a tad unprofessional IMO.
Likewise it was unprofessional of Mel to spout off on Facebook the way she did too.

I've noticed you often say that you know behind-the-scenes things but then can't tell us what they are. Please don't take this the wrong way but if you can't give us the full story, then please don't mention it at all, as your hints are very frustrating.
