Cilla and Les?!
I've just read the main Soaps page, and I can't believe Cilla is even returning to Weatherfield let alone
Spoiler
It'll be interesting to see how she manages to wangle her way back in to his life, and I am glad because I do enjoy watching the character! |

I think Les's auntie Lena should be at the wedding and just as there about to say "i do" she will reveal that les and cilla are in fact half brother and sister.

As much as I can't stand Cilla, her and Les are so well suited. I just hope the story includes a sensible solution to the way Chesney is living. Not that i am suggesting Cilla is in anyway a decent mother, but so far Chesney has been shown to be doing ok considering his upbringing. Kids bought up like that usually behave much much worse, I think he is being made far too cute.
At least silly Janice won't be daft enough to get near Les again - that episode was horrible. |

Why can't I take to Cilla ?
As a baddie part I mean. I can see she plays it well, over the top with great lines, but I'm just not entertained by her and feel uncomfortable watching her character on screen. I enjoyed watching Richard Hillman and you have to have someone to make you boo and hiss, to balance things in soap, like any good patomime villain. Perhaps they haven't built up her character enough? She has another side, but all we've seen is deceipt, unkindess and thieiving. .You have to have *something* no matter how deep down it's buried to warm to. Tart with a heart? There's no evidence that Cilla has one! She's says she loves Chesney, but the lad's permanently locked out or starving hungry. Perhaps that's it. I can't warm to anyone no matter how hard they've had it if they can't love their kids.

I think that Cilla will arrive at Les' house beaten up by her boyfriend, she has had fights with him before as the children have mentioned them, Les will let her in and they will go from there.

Oh please - spare us! is it possible to setup Sky+ to skip anyscenes with Les Battersby? Mind you, if I did that, I'd miss Chesney who can act the socks off Bruce Jones!

I'm glad Cilla's coming back. She was a good character played by a good actress. I thought she was gone for good though

Chesney should have won at the British Soap Awards - not Sonia from EE.
Glad that Cilla is coming back, as she is a really great character. I absolutely love her facial expressions as well. Make me laugh out loud! |

I'm sort of torn, I loved Cilla, but like stuart62 can't stand Les Battersby. So with Cilla back I'll probably get more Chesney - which is a very good thing, but loads more Les - which to me is a very bad thing
