Interesting to note that despite most of you being concerned about this dog, no one (it seems) has contacted the owner to find out if the dog was ever ruturned (or if he worked out how to turn caps lock off).”

BIB I wouldn't say so.
Could have been stolen from the garden, that's the way a lot of them go.
IIRC The Staff is the most stolen dog in the UK, probably due to it's popularity, I wonder how so many are stolen and don't put the thieves in A&E due to their inherent nature of biting and attacking humans?
As you know so much about Staffies maybe you can explain it?
The point in contacting the owner would be what, exactly?
The word's returned btw.
Considering the mistakes in the OP before you edited it (see posts 1, 4 & 5 IIRC), I'm not sure why you're trying to make such a big point over the person's typing or posting things in the incorrect section.

. Only dog I've ever been bitten by, a dachshund, yes I was bitten by a sausage dog!! But after reading this thread, I don't know how my parents managed to keep me out of danger for all those years before the days of people on forums passing judgement and telling us common folk how to do things.
