Have some victorian gentlemen fallen through the rift? This is all very prudish.

The scene is basically a bedroom farce. A scene straight out of 'Whoops, there go my trousers, more tea vicar?'. And I was about ten years old when I last saw one of them.

It wouldn't be out of place in Hollyoaks either, which is on earlier and features plenty of bed scenes.

Scantily clad women in Doctor Who! Shocking. I remember watching Leela as a kid and I've been corrupted ever since.

lets face it, if the fail and Mediawatch want to cry about something they will.

I mean I fell about laughing at that scene and personally I am crying of laughter at those 43 people who complained, there is far worse to complain about on TV than Amy Pond nearly getting her giggdy, giggdy goo on with the Doctor.
yikes

I couldn't believe this - Leela was far more raunchy .
be more pacific

In our house, she is now known as "Amy the Slapper". Such a shame.”

Nice. Perhaps you can teach your kid to shout "WHORE!" at the television whenever Amy appears in a short skirt.

"She's asking for it, mummy. The filthy scrubber is asking for it."

Some people eh... nothing better to do than complain to the BBC... hang on, didn't I do that last week about the ident? Well that did ruin the programme, Amy snogging the Doctor and pushing him up against the TARDIS didn't ruin the programme. Show me a child who was offended by that... nope? just the over protective parents who don't let their kids out the house because its for their safety and then they wonder why they get obese.... yeah ok then. That's what over protectiveness does then.

Are you having a laugh? Amy trying to undress the Doctor and then getting on the bed waiting for him counts as 'a couple of double entendres' does it?

You appear to be the only one speaking sense. Just because everyone else's morals obviously belong in the gutter doesn't mean to say I want to see it thrown in my face on my favourite programme.

I wonder what the average age of person responding to this thread is...

Yes.

People need to get a grip. As others have pointed out that scene was pure farce.

I don't know what you see when you watch that episode but I see mild comedy. That you are reacting to it like it was filth says more about you than that scene.

What does it say about me? That I have morals? Oh no, what a disaster...!

Double entendres are vocal not visual - I was, as was obvious to most sensible people, referring to the dialogue. The scene itself, as I stated - was plainly meant to be funny and not remotely sexual/sensual - and if you took it that way then you must lead a hysterical and very clinical love life.

What a ridiculous thing to say. From reading this thread, it appears that, unlike most people here, I actually have a love life, and not just with my hand...

Nice double standards there. Well done.

Well the BBC did uphold a complaint against MTW from one person

It wasn't comedy.
Amy tried to rip the Doctor's shirt off. Fact!
Amy got on the bed and wanted the Doctor to 'do' her. Fact!
