My dog loves peas, asparagus and mange tout

He especially likes peas when they are thrown across the floor and he can chase them.

He's partial to baked potato too but I suspect that's more the butter!

My cat loves peas and eats grass like there's no tomorrow! You can get veggie cat food so might try her with it at some stage, maybe some animals are veggies just like some humans?

My dog ate loads of veg. He got all the leftover sunday roast veg - runner beans, cauliflower, cabbage.

He regularly ate raw carrots and parsnips.

Lived 19 years so it can't have been bad for him.

My dogs regularly get raw, juiced up veg (pulp & juice) mixed with their mince. I can't say that it's their favourite meal but a small sprinkling of grated cheese helps it go down well. They also sometimes have leftovers of cooked veg & meat but I think it's the gravy that does the trick!

One of my dogs adores raw red, orange or yellow peppers (not green) & will sit next to me & tap my leg when I'm chopping up peppers.

I'd be wary about any cat food that is supposedly vegetarian. Cats are obligate carnivores & must have meat.

My dog Penny (R.I.P. ) used to love raw carrots.
The thing is, she would get a whole one, chew it up and spit some of the the bits out on the floor !
We'd find little piles of chewed up carrots all over the house !

Happily mine love veggies. As one has to have carrots instead of biscuit and the other is on a fish and potato diet we would be in trouble if they didn't.
Only veg they won't touch is lettuce.

My cat Toby would have your arm off for a beansprout! He also likes onions, mushrooms, peas, parsnips, roast potatoes, mashed carrot and swede, and various other bits.

Beansprouts are his favourite though.

My cat hates carrots. Whenever I buy him the pouched food which has veg mixed into it, he eats all the meat and jelly and leaves a little pile of carrot in his bowl.

Our late cat Shadow (!) loved salsa and avocado dips. He'd pretty much lick most things and munch if they were nice including my husband's fingers!

Our much missed doggies liked veg. Lillie loved carrots and also cauliflower, Jolie ate everything including raw brusselsprouts which induced farting on a huge scale so they were banned and so was she, to the garden, if she had one. Topsy loved banana daiquiri and got a little wobbly at a summer party when she found an almost empty bottle and got her tongue inside. I had to bottle feed her water to get her sober poor love. It lead to a new name - Tipsy!

All lived to good, healthy ages so no harm done.

Nope. I have tried him with carrots and he took one, nibbled it a bit then looked at me in disgust! He does eat his food with veg in but that is about it.

Both my cats like potatoes but I think that is because of the butter . One of them likes peas as well especially if they fall on the floor he will chase them and eat them

She's not mad keen on vegetables (she'll eat the odd chip or two), but she loves Cheese and Broccoli Pasta and tinned Sponge Pudding

I have just found Smudge-The-Barmy-Cat with an empty bag of bacon crisps on her head......

Funniest thing I have seen in ages, wish I had caught a photo!

(the bag was already empty and 'mysteriously' jumped out of the bin - I think she likes the flavour)
