Dr Who Theme - Remixes.
When i'm not posting giberish about Dr Who while pretending to study, i'm a DJ.
I fancy doing a sort of Sci fi mix at some point soon, using things like the Party Ben Star wars theme/chemical brothers bootleg. To that end, does anyone know of any similarly brilliant Dr Who remixes or bootlegs? |

You can try http://whomix.windbubbles.net/?wmid=music
Siesta in Seville is a particularly clever one (IMO), Matthew |

Fantastic link.
Some of the mash ups are truly surreal Clangers vs. Dr Who for example. But If the crowd were wasted enough I might be able to work the Eurythmics vs. Dr Who mash up. Although the Dalek Samples might seriously freak out some clubbers.

WOW! That Orbital remix is brilliant! The visuals looked a lot like the time tunnel as well - although I can make similar effects using Windows Media Player visualisations.

Wonder if they'll do it at Glastonbury this year?

It was sampled from the 1973 version of the theme tune. |

The funniest one I've heard recently is also the oldest! In 1964, Eric Winstone & His Orchestra did what is understood to be the first non-BBC version of the Who theme.

Orbital are currently- I think- doing a different remix from the one on The Altogether as the close of their set:
