What a great show it was.

Erin i thought did great and i really enjoyed Maks' routine, glad they got all 9's, shocked they were bottom two though.

Chad also good but i generally don't enjoy the v.waltz they do over there, but he looked graceful, and quite dashing in that white suit

Nicole was good as usual but she is probably my least favourite out of who is left. I love Derek but i get the feeling he doesn't enjoy the rehearsals like he usually does, or they are just very serious compared to how they would usually be with him.

Evan was brilliant, i thoroughly enjoyed the routine but i expected 9's rather than 10's as i thought he slipped a couple of times, but there you go

Niecy's best dance for sure, and she is still hilarious but i felt it was her time to go (even though she has improved).

Pammy, i really really like her, and still think Damien was abit short for her, but quite enjoyed her dance, just a shame it was her last.

The Cha cha cha's were great but i agreed with the judges that Team Gaga was better and i was happy to watch it for a second time.

Just to add i wouldn't mind the team dances to be introduced to Strictly, once they get down to 6 couples, was alot of fun to watch.

So was I, although I did say to my sister before the show here in Friday that I had a feeling they would be going. She told me she'd found out who went and I told her not to tell me but said I hoped it wasn't Maks and Erin as I am really like Maks this season - don't know why

Chad also good but i generally don't enjoy the v.waltz they do over there, but he looked graceful, and quite dashing in that white suit
I can't seem to take to Chad. I'm not sure what it is about him or maybe its just his partnership with Cheryl, I don't know. I'm not just getting him.

Nicole was good as usual but she is probably my least favourite out of who is left. I love Derek but i get the feeling he doesn't enjoy the rehearsals like he usually does, or they are just very serious compared to how they would usually be with him.
I loved Nicole at the start of the series. I am a huge fan of Derek (and hope he comes over here for SCD this year) but like you, I'm not seeing the fun side. When he danced with Joanna Krupa (and in particular during his futuristic paso) I thought he seemed to really enjoy it but I don't see it this year.

Evan was brilliant, i thoroughly enjoyed the routine but i expected 9's rather than 10's as i thought he slipped a couple of times, but there you go
I also thought Evan slipped. I've watched it a few times now and every time I see him steady himself slightly after a couple of his moves. Still I felt it was the best dance of the series so far. I aboslutely loved it. Evan has grown on me more and more throughout the season and I would like to see him win.

Niecy's best dance for sure, and she is still hilarious but i felt it was her time to go (even though she has improved).
Love her; her energy and enthusiasm She's not the best dancer but she definitely has the most fun.

Pammy, i really really like her, and still think Damien was abit short for her, but quite enjoyed her dance, just a shame it was her last.
I'm very disappointed with Pam's partnership with Damien. I always felt he was a bit "wishy washy" for her. I'd have preferred to see her dance with Mark or Maks. I was surprised about how much I liked her. You get a certain impression of someone and I'm pleased she had the chance to dispell it.

The Cha cha cha's were great but i agreed with the judges that Team Gaga was better and i was happy to watch it for a second time.

I enjoyed both Cha cha cha's too. I though Team Madonna was a bit hit and miss and sometimes seemed a bit messy whilst Team Gaga was spot on.

All in all I thought it was a great evenings entertainment.

I am very upset Pam is gone, I thought she really improved & started to act more naturally/comfortably too - I am sulking that a certain person I really have taken a dislike to was not even in the bottom two!
Absolutely loved team Gaga's dance, (sorry to say but team Madonna was a shambles, even though the judges tried to smarm & make them feel better).

Evan I loved his AT, but didn't think it deserved 10s because technically his feet are frequently quite ugly in their shape and movement. He needs to work on them more - I'm surprised the judges haven't picked him up on it.

Nicole As always pulled out all the stops. I enjoy watching her and Derek dance although like others I'm not sure I like her as a person so much.

Erin Erin is another I really can't take to, though find it hard to explain exactly why. I didn't like the VT she and Maks did, it was so obviously set up. I don't think I would have given her 9s, but she certainly didn't deserve to be in bottom 2.

Chad His dancing has certainly improved, but Viennese Waltz? I think not. I realise it was A.Smooth, but even so, it would have been nice to have seen a few more proper VW steps, instead of all the faffing about.

Niecy Have no idea what Niecy does (singer/actress or whatever) but she drives me nuts. If only she stopped eating and messing about she might be able to learn something. The worst dancer by a country mile.

Pam Shame she wasn't put with one of the good pros because she had potential. Even so, she was far better than Niecy.

The team dances were very entertaining, and there were some good cha cha cha's among them. I agreed Team GaGa was the best.

Maybe I'm the one who is doing the misleading here .... I should have said an "American Smooth Viennese Waltz", as opposed to the International style that is danced in UK etc.

American Smooth isn't "A" dance, but a style of dancing.

You can have American Smooth waltz, AS foxtrot, AS tango and AS Viennese waltz. Despite what they do on Strictly, there is NO American Smooth quickstep!!!!

I really really wish Smooth was also used in the UK, as, when done properly, it can be very beautiful, both to dance and watch.

Just for interest, if you want to compare the American Smooth dances to those we usually see in the UK, take a look on Youtube at:
