no HDMI signal from Foxsat-HDR

Bought a Foxsat-HDR today, and when I connected it to my TV and selected the HDMI input on the TV, the TV says "NO SIGNAL".

Repeated for all 4 HDMI inputs on my TV; same result.

After messing about for a while I connected my Daughter's TV to the Foxsat and it said "NO HDMI SIGNAL DETECTED".

Connecting to my Son's gave "HDMI NOT AVAILABLE".

Any suggestions?

Hi, Was it a brand new box? Did you wait till the box booted up before selecting the HDMI on the set ?

You could try connecting via Scart to make sure you didn't get a duff box. If it is OK via Scart maybe a factory reset !

Could be a bad lead, have you tried another hdmi lead.

assuming you used the same lead you may have a duff hdmi cable.

New box. Only have 1 hdmi cable. Yes I waited til box booted. It does work via scart, but not hdmi. I guess it's a duff lead?

Has to be a duff cable or duff box. If you don't have another cable I'd be tempted to take it back to the shop and get them to try it in store.
