obviously we know from the trailer that they have to pick which world is real, but in future episodes how long do you think it'll be before people say "maybe they chose the wrong one thats why this happened or the wall wobbled etc" lol sorry but i find it funny how far some peoples imaginations go sometimes =)

i totally agree about the show being that good im not dissing anyone, everyone is entitled to their own opinion n all that i just meant i find it amusing how some people think about something and to them its absolutely right and hell mend anyone who disagrees lol and all the arguing that goes on because someone has a different opinion to someone else, it cheers me up laughing sometimes

Haha, i know what you mean. And i was trying to get at the same thing. I didnt think you were dissing people. I just think it's so impressive how the show can conjure up so many theories and assertions (Most of which get proved wrong.... but it's still impressive!)

Looks rather cheap looking with lots of scenes set in some village. Do the makers of tv soap Emmerdale loan out their village?

I must admit I thought the trailer made the episode look really crappy. Amy looking older (why do people always look naff with older make-up?) and pregnant and all this dream vs reality nonsense. And the villain looks as menacing as a librarian. Looks like a real stinker of an episode.

Worst episode ever? Could be. It looks so crappy. It's going to be worse than that one with Peter Kay as a fat alien. Man, that episode sucked!

What the bejaysus? To me it looks like it's going to be an amazing episode. One filled with twists and turns, not knowing what's real and not.

An episode doesn't have to be filled with special effects and CGI for it to be a good episode.

IIRC Midnight was a "cheap" episode and it just got voted the best episode of new who in the survivor game on this forum.

Agree. I couldn't take Vampires of Venice seriously because of the awful CGI. They just shouldn't attempt effects they can't pull off convincingly. At least the spitfires in space looked ok due to the quick cutting of the shots and the movement of the camera.

I think Doctor Who deserves a really 'oh my God, that is so awful' episode just to give us all a laugh. I need a really crappy episode to make me chuckle. And wooden acting, it needs that too.

Toby Jones is a pretty major actor and I doubt he's working for free. He plays Dobby the house elf don't ya know.

What CGI are you talking about here? I didn't notice any problems with it.

1) Pre-judging an episode that hasn't aired yet is bloody ridiculous
2) Not all eps can have MASSIVE budgets
3) The trailer made it look superb, come Saturday, I'll be able to properly judge the quality of it. But not before.
4) Why do people who clearly hate this show still watch it?

I know! The cgi in vampires of venice was exactly up to the standard I expect in an episode of Doctor Who. If you aren't capable of suspension of disbelief when it comes to dodgy effects, I really think doctor who might not be the show for you.

I thought the trailer for next week, looked amazing, quite scary old-fashioned stuff. I didn't think it looked cheap either.

I'm sure it will look amazing in 2.5D although that technology is not available until 2020 so we'll have to do with 2D or boring 3D.
