Tax-dodging muppet is Lloyd-Webber.
I think Jenny will be cast in another musical soon. I think she'll be on that west end stage before The Wizard of Oz opens next March. Last edited by Becker : 08-05-2010 at 20:41. Reason: Had to change it cos I wrote a bad word. |

Me too. And I think this should be the last series of ALW casting someone for one of his productions. He's pathetic.

Not really, Lauren was clearly better in the sing off and has been nearly every week.

His decision wasn't based on the sing-off, he even admitted that.

If she can't sing send in the the clowns then that isn't their fault, that is her singing ability letting her down.
And inability to bond with a dog, obviously they're going to show it if she didn't do very well. It's not like they told the dog to behave that way. It's more of sour grapes than a fix. I also think she sang the song well. AND! AWL in his critique at the end mentioned that Lauren also struggled to bond with Toto.... but interestingly that wasn't in the VT when the votes were open! I am stating things that DID happen. |

Fair enough, but Lauren was clearly a stronger all-rounder.
It's completely ridiculous, and people eat it up. |

Then why are you watching? Can't you just let the rest of us enjoy the programme?

Why because Jenny couldn't "bond with the dog"?
It's completely ridiculous, and people eat it up.

Why is Andrew a tax dodger? He lives in the UK, how does he dodge paying tax. If you know let us all know.

My grandson reckons that ALW saved Lauren because she already has the least votes, so unless loads of people voted for her after the show and before 8.45pm she will be in the bottom two again and then he can send her home - especially if his favourite (and John and Sheila's) is in the bottom two.

No because, Lauren was a stronger singer, dancer and actress IMO I'm not excpecting you to agree with me because clearly you don't. What made me respond to your comment was you saying it's pathetic because I felt the right person did go and obviously so did ALW.

My comment was merely directed at the OP since they were the one who seems to be attacking the show by saying it's a fix and also then going on to rubbish ALW.
I never said the show was a fix, tonight's result was fixed. Jenny was completely stitched up. |

As someone before said, not fixed but heavily manipulated. Even my mum noticed it this week.
I'm not complaining, just saying. |

You were te one who said she was given a song she couldn't sing and I too thought she sang it well. It may not have shown Lauren not bonding with Toto because Jenny went more obviously wrong.

I agree there the show was manipulated ( again ) tonight ....
Danielle, Steph and Jessica get really big well known songs ... crowd pleasers basically ... Sophie, Lauren and Jenny get IMO not very well known or popular songs. I'm 30 something, I like musicals, but I have never in my life heard Sophie or Lauren's songs before tonight ... Jenny's was a complex song and as soon as I heard what she was singing the warning lights were flashing in my mind! I just think this is getting unfair ...knowing the audience vote on song choice, it's not a level playing field to give 3 girls massively popular songs and 3 girls vitually unknown songs .... they should all have songs that are similar in popularity .... Then ALW is harping on and on about bonding with the dog ( for the first time in weeks ) and also about choosing the RIGHT Dorothy ... implying that there are girls left that he is not happy with ... and ... well the bottom 2 wasn't a surprise to me in the slightest and his choice was obvious ... I agree with that choice too but I think Jenny, Sophie and Lauren were all at a disadvantage tonight from the start .... |
