Am sure if the same happened to you're favourtie then you wouldn't be saying sour grapes.

Jenny knowing she had been stiched up took it all with grace and never once let the fact that her face didn't fit get to her ..... unlike some of the others.

I wonder if they had shown the task on Sat night and then bit with Andrew on Sunday night he would have said that same thing on Saturday. Ie If they don't bound with dogs get them out ......

But then I suppose its better to be out when they don't want you, the comments ALW and Cameron Mac tmade to Jodie on IDA would drive anyone to therapy for years.

You are obviously a mind-reader. Please let me know what numbers to cross off in the lottery at the weekend.
Actually, the person who said that was right, I worked it out the week before (but didn't actually know that Jenny would be in the bottom 2, just that ALW didn't like her).

Last week, bottom 2 was Stephanie and Steph - ALW said, "it's not the bottom 2 I hoped for". The fact he said "that I HOPED for" suggests he was hoping for a particular combination.
He hadn't actually praised Stephanie very thoroughly, so I don't think she actually rated highly on his radar. Probably she was one he would have liked in the singoff. For simpleness sakes, we'll say she was (then we only have to find one more he doesn't like!)

He saved Steph, so obviously he liked her, otherwise he wouldn't have said something negative about the singoff.
So we know he likes Steph for a start.

Danielle... do I have to prove he loves Danielle? Let's watch her performance from last week again and his reaction... (and he's saved her from a bottom 2 since...)

Jessica, I know she's gone now, but that's possibly only because she was against Danielle. Every time he gets to speak about Jessica he says that she "will be a great star" and "has elements that are truly magic and special".

Lauren - he told her in week 2 when she was opposite Bronte that the two of them were "in his top 5" - since he saved Lauren over Bronte, she must have been in his top 4 from the start. There were more than 6 girls last week, so she wouldn't have been his bottom 2. (Aside from that, he's saved her since...)

Sophie - he's saved her from the bottom 2 before, fair enough, against Emily - but he seems to praise her every week, telling her she "has more to give" and he "can't wait to see it" - if he wanted her to be in the bottom two, he wouldn't talk about seeing more!

That just leaves Jenny. I can't remember him saying something equally fawny over Jenny. I'm not saying he doesn't like her, but I think Jenny/Stephanie were his bottom two last week, and he wanted her to go!

I think he was viewing them as a pair in that context and his comment reflected same as it did earlier in the series when two strong contenders nevertheless ended up bottom two. If anything I think he is disappointed at having to let either girl go in that instance.

I don't think it's reasonable/realistic to believe that ALW doesn't have favourites and/or to scold him for same....after all it's his production and profit that he must consider.

I've said elsewhere that the OTR result is not necessarily the end of the string of events. Aoife didn't make the final of Maria yet we watched her some months later in the role at the London Palladium.
