How was Steph not good? Jessica was great! Yeah bum note at the end but the rest was pitch perfect, and she did an amazing witty performance and acted and danced well...

I do like Steph, but it was too big a song for her to cope with. No-one (except maybe Lauren) could have made a good job of it. To maintain a really good line it required fantastic vocal control and thorough understanding of the lyrics and context to give an emotionally nuanced performance. Steph's performance was full of lumps and bumps and was just the best she could do with the vocal line.

Jessica I cannot take seriously. She is not a good singer, and while her performance made me laugh, it was far from witty!

I thought Jess and Lauren were the best yesterday. My mind just switches off when Jenny is on stage. Sophie did surprise me, Steph dissapointed me. And PRE-TEEEN-DUUUNG just made me lol.

Just watched it again, and Lauren was awesome yet again,a class apart.I can't believe she was in the bottom two.The public are very strange imo(but free to spend their money on their favourite so thats their prerogative i suppose.)

Jenny was clear second best for me this week too,so i guess i don't have a clue what the public is going to do each week!
Danielle was disapointing,poor vocal.
Jessica was fun,quite liked it.
Steph was good but missed a few notes which is unlike her,i;m suree she'll be back on form next week
Sophie was ok,but forgettable.

“Perhaps John Partridge had a point when he was talking about the difference between the theatre and television.”

Then constantly slammed Jessica because she was larger than life, which is what is needed in the theatre.

So she might have been better than Jess and Lauren, but you wouldn't have noticed because your mind was switched off

I doubt if Lauren's bottom two placing had anything to do with her performance; more their perception of her as arrogant (which is bollocks IMO)
