Was wondering how did Amy manage to defeat Mummy's Boy in VoV? Looked pretty weird to me.

by directing sun light straight on to him with a mirror. It was fairly well signposted in the episode.

Ah, i can see why you might have though that if you didn't see what she had in her hand. Thats why she wanted Rory to get him over to that part of the ally way, because she could direct the sun on to him from there.

I did wonder how come the sun was shining when all that cloud was gathering around the tower, but still lets not be picky

i think thats why amy was looking for a spot where the sun was still shining, hence her needing rory to get the guy over to where she had found such a spot. Perhaps they should have shown a shot of the sky to verify this.
